Hello there, fellow futa lovers!
I find this piece to be unique in a couple of ways. Firstly, it reminds me of some of the more crowded scenes I have painted for commissions, bringing back sweet, nostalgic memories (Hello there, K!). Secondly, having all our main futa characters in a single scene is new. Additionally, the 3D aspect of the artwork adds another layer of complexity. When I created the first ".blend" file for a main illustration, it was an attempt to create Epona's bedroom, not a therapeutic setting, which conveys an entirely different story. However, the challenge here was not about the environment but to ensure that the many figures in this artwork were readable and worked together as a cohesive unit... Of these beloved ladies having a great session... And making progress.
This project took longer than usual: nearly eighteen hours of painting plus the prior modeling stages. Was it worth it? For me, it was. Is it more fun to have our eyes going from place to place? Can we rest our gaze and enjoy it? Maybe less often than in a more focused composition. There are unique skills to be learned here, and I always feel like a beginner. How many artists can create intricate illustrations like Kim Jung-Gi with such ease and panache anyway? Not many. Not many. I hope I'll get there eventually.
Finally, this month’s main illustration draws heavily on my conversation with BasedDepartment. His idea would be a one-on-one session between Sofia and Epona. I replied that creating detailed interiors was a significant challenge for me without 3D modeling or hours of architectural sketching using conical perspective and guides (which I’m not very fond of). I recall opening Blender right after our conversation, and things started falling into place. Thanks, BasedDepartment!
Thank you so much for your love and support! I'll send the Carmine and Cyan packs links in a few minutes.
I hope you guys like it! Cheers! =^_____^=
