Giants!!

Giants are one of the more broken races in this world. The different races are not equal. A human will not be able to be as powerful as a Giant as an empowered warrior. A normal human will never be strong as a Giant just by working out. 

Of course there are ways around this. Training enables a person to reach their full potential and a giant might just be lazy. A human might learn of the esoteric arts and overpower an much more powerful opponent through skill and understanding of subtlety. And then there are magical surgeries, boosters, and enhancements that the Prisoner uses. Some of which harnesses the mutagenic properties of humans to make themselves specialized weapons. 

Let's talk about the demonic plague. These are an infection that overtakes the other in a sort of bond, while enhancing their abilities at the cost of increased aggression. This infection also changes them, enslaving them to the demonic plague with the hosts acting as a vessel for further infection. Often, in areas where they are few in number, they use promises of power and the allure of sex to infect new hosts. Sometimes with a drop of their blood, and at others a whirlwind of courtship. Giants with their lust of power, natural aggression, and hierarchical culture of submission and dominance were ready made to fall to corruption. The majority of their entire race are demons and the rest of the universe will assume a Giant is a demon. 

The next lore entry will come out on Wednesday of next week. This Wednesday will post the cover page of the Necromancer series. And finally, on Friday - I will try to get out a new page for Chapter 6. And if I can't, I'll fall back to posting a revision page for Chapter 2. The overall goal will be to finish Book 1. Revision pages for Chapter 2 will only be if the writing is not ready in time.
