In the Elvish Hegemony, there are more armies then there are Divinities to lead them.  The difference between the two is significant as a single Divinity can change the outcome in a war. But it also becomes about politics. Armies without Divinities are often sent into dangerous or boring jobs while the Divinities led their armies to glory. These Divine-less armies would have their own traditions, such as wearing the hairstyles of the human pirate ancestors as an act of rebellion and fashion. Armies like the ones where Crusher and Insight served.

If a soldier stood out, they were recruited into the entourage of a Divinity, leaving their original army weaker. Insight's knowledge of ancient lore gained the attention of the Divinity after she deciphered and published spell-books from old libraries. It is her knowledge which makes her invaluable to the Duchess of Grasping Vine's army specialized in archaeology.

Finished 2 pages of 8? or so pages for the vote on the new character. Since these will be touchups and additions - I'll try to post one a day instead of MWF when they are ready to come out. Until that is ready, I'll do a few more concepts.

It's good to get this information out there. Doing so makes it seem more official than just living inside the history logs of discord and my notes.

Yeah, it's just really cool to get that insight into the characters. Learning about what makes them tick and all that
