-This is ridiculous- Conrad mumbled to himself while wandering through the thick northern forest. Not only it was chilly and rainy, but it was also slowly getting dark and yet there was no sign of Constances campsite in his line of sight.

All this, because she had forgot an artifact when packing. Some kind of a silver runed amulet and apparently, the thing was very crucial for her expedition this time, so much so that she called her brother and told him to get his furred ass aboard the nearest flight to Scandinavia and bring it over. She even gave him the coordinates of her base in the forests up north, how considarate of her.

Firstly Conrad suggested that she should just fly back for it herself, but it seemed that time is of the essence, and a trip back and forth like that would make her miss the spring equinox. He had no idea why it was so important, but he also didn't want to listen to a long lecture his sister would most likely produce on the line, so being an example of a good brother, he took some days off work and packed up.

"Worst part about it, is that I'm spending my hard earned vacation days on this endavour. Could have taken up with Geno somewhere, where the weathers way better. Traveling south to Montenegro maybe? I heard it's nice and warm there at this time of the year" the coyote thought to himself, leaning against a massive pine tree, while confirming that he's still trekking up north on his compass.

After another half an hour of walking he noticed a shape in the distance that was most definetly a creation of sentient furs. Getting close to it, he even saw a dim light emanating from the small windows at the front.

-Oh finally, a hunting cabin.- he let out a sight of relief. "This must be where she's hiding" he thought to himself.

Conrad stopped in front of the wooden door and knocked on it. A force of habit living with a female sibling. Who knows what she's doing in there. He didn't mind the occassional nudity that Constance flashed in their house, but the thought of seeing some unfortunate local that she roped up, both in a figure of speach and in reality, for this expedition, did crossed his mind.

-Come in- a female voice, but not that of his sister welcomed the coyote. He opened the thick wooden door and entered.

The interior was all made from old wood and stone, cramped and very scarce in basic furniture. Opposite the entrance was a small fireplace that was the only source of light and heat for the place. Next to it sat a beautiful dragoness whose head was adorned with long, curly white hair and golden horns, underneath those, a pair of bright purple eyes shone brilliantly and on her cheeks, red scales shimmered from the crackling fire. She was dressed only in a simple cotton sleeping gown and seemed unbothered by the sight of tall male.

-You can warm yourself at the fire, stranger. It'll be a rainy night tonight- she spoke picking up a piece of dry wood and adding it to the fire.

-Thank you.- Conrad took off his wet jacket, taken back a bit by the welcoming and rather cozy mood of the cabin.

Next, the dragoness pointed at the ropes that were hanging from the walls.

-Put your wet cloathes up there, so they can dry out properly.-

Conrad nodded and started undressing, while the girl looked the other way. Luckilly he did pack a pair of sweat pants for sleeping and the t-shirt he had on was still dry. Wouldn't be comfortable for the lady if he paraded in undies only. The dragoness patted the empty space on the floor right next to her and the fireplace, looking calmly over her shoulder at Conrad.

-Thank you for the hospitality.- Conrad spoke while sitting down.

The red scaled dragoness smiled subtly. After a minute of awkward silence the coyote reminded himself why he's here in the first place.

-I'm Conrad.- the man introduced himself -I'm looking for my sister in these woods. She looks just like me, same color fur and same markings, but a female. Also wears glasses and has long dark hair. Maybe you've seen her, miss...-

-Valerys.- the girl introduced herself -No, I didn't run into anyone in this forest yet. Other furs and scales usually stay out of it during the equinox, unless they come here to hunt. Your sister is a hunter too?-

-A hunter? She hunts down treasures and relics. I would call her more of an part-adventurer part-explorer part-archeologist.- Conrad pondered - You're a hunter Valerys?- the coyote asked.

-Yes, a monster hunter- said the dragoness, then faced the wall, where a long iron sword was resting against.

Conrad took a glance at the weapon and it became clear to him why the girl feels so calm and relaxed, even being stranded with an unknown man in the middle of nowhere for the night. She could defend herself with ease if the need arises, luckilly for both of them, Conrad knew how to behave himself.

-Wait... you said a monster hunter? Are there monsters in this forest?- the coyote turned towards the dragoness.

-Just one, and he manifests itself only during the equinox. An ancient werebear, the primal spirit of this mighty forest. I'm here to track it down tonight after midnight.- the girl thrown another piece of wood into the fireplace.

Conrad started to put the puzzle pieces together in his head. No wonder Constance had no time to travel back to Poland and return here, she would have missed the equinox. And for her a proof of finding a mythical beast being not a myth, but a fact, was as worthy as another ancient treasure. The perfect example being those eager scientist ever trying to find that giant lake girl with the huge butt and massive tits. What was her name again... Nessie? But then, why is he here if the monster always descents from the spirit realm on every spring equinox?

-Hey Valerys, can you tell me what this thing is?- the male pulled out the engraved silver amulet from under his t-shirt. The dragoness took it in her hand with a surprise on her face and clear interest.

-This is an amazing piece, where did you get it?- she asked.

-It belongs to my sister. She was supposed to take it with her, but forgot. That's why I'm here, to deliever it.-

Valerys turned around and hastly dug into her large backpack, so hastly that she forgot she's dressed only in her plain nightgown, giving the coyote a nice view of what's under it... and under her tail.

"So her scales down there are black just like the ones on her calves and fingers" Conrad turned towards the fireplace pretending to not seen a thing, when the dragoness turned around again presenting a folder with a collection of old folk art. She shoved one in front of Conrads snout, it was a drawing of an item that looked very similar to the amulet on his neck. He took it in his paws as the girl tapped the image with her claw.

-See, these runes are protective, and them being engraved on a piece of silver that was mined here few centuries ago amplifies its strenght. With it on your neck, the monster won't be able to touch you.-

Valerys gave Conrad yet another replica of an old folk drawing, this time it was one with the supposed werebear. While it was hard to tell the true size of the beast, the coyote noted that the old time artist captured the details of the beast quite well, from the muscular front paws, the massive hind legs and the rather well endowed crotch of the creature. Interesting that they've captured even the veins on the shafts surface. The dragoness tapped the portrayed beast on its hulking testicles.

-This monster is very ruthless, once it captures you, it'll keep on defiling your body for hours till it'll exhaust itself. That amulet is a very crucial piece if someone wants to slay it or study it!-

So typical of his sister. Most likely knowing all of this information, that only some very clandestine individuals knew about, yet doing the equivalent of tripping on her own showlaces by forgetting the silver necklace... and now that the amulet is Conrads hands, and Constance is out there with the beast roaming the woods... oh no. Conrad got up from the floor instantly, making Valerys jump.

-She'll die out there! I need to go and save her!-

-Huh?-

-You've said it yourself, I don't want to see my sister getting mangled!-

-Oh, no, no.- Valerys shook her head- I didn't mean "defiling the body" as tearing her apart.-

-What did you mean then?- Conrad asked puzzled.

The dragoness made a gesture with one hand, forming a circle with her thumb and finger, then a pointing gesture with her other hand. She moved the pointing finger inside the ring, then retracted, first slowly, then building up speed, in and out of the ring the finger went. Conrad noticed blushes on her red scaled cheeks.

-Oh, if that's what it is, then she should be fine. Not her first rodeo.- he sat back down with a hint of annoyance in his voice. After a few seconds of staring into the fire and thinking he turned back to Valerys.

-What happens to the beast once it's, you know, killed or spent?-

-If it runs into no one or defiles a defeated hunter, it dissapears into the forests mists for another year. If it's slain, it leaves a trophy for its vanquisher, mostly it's a runed tooth or a claw. It's a manifested spirit, so it can't be trully slain.-

The dragoness looked up and let out a loud sigh.

-I hoped to return this year with one of those trophies to my guild, as and accomplished huntress. But if your sister is out there with no protection... I have almost no chance of him targeting me now.-

Conrad felt sorry for the dragoness. She'll have to wait another year for a chance to find the beast of legends. Without much thought, he took off the amulet and gifted it to Valerys.

-Here, you'll need it more next year, then she does now.-

The girl took the amulet in both hands and gave the man a warm smile.

-Thank you kindly Conrad... but won't your sister be mad at you once she finds out you gave it away?-

The coyote shrugged.

-I can always say that I've got mugged by... or bewitched by a beautiful dragoness in the forest.- Conrad said with a large grin -And also will tell her, that if she does want her amulet back, she'll have to help the dragoness here next year. In the role of a bait.-

-Oh, that's evil. I like it.- Valerys laughed out loud -With the werebear out of my reach this year, it looks like we'll be spending the whole night here together, Conrad...- throwing a fresh piece of wood into the fire, the white haired dragoness turned towards the coyote. Looking straight into his brown eyes, while kneeling next to his side, putting on a seductive smile, Valerys grabbed the bottom of her sleeping gown. Slowly raising it up, she revealed her firm red thighs, ever higher, the dark scales around her golden pussy, and higher, through red midriff all the way up to the round breasts, topped with black nipples that were crowned by a pair of golden piercings. Conrad stared in silence, but a clear erection was drawn by the raising shape in his loose pants. It didn't escape the girls attention and she spoke.

-...and if I can't slay the monster, how about I truly bewitch the coyote instead?-

A little bit of a birthday gift from me to me. Wonder if I'll make it in time for 19.05, but eh, knowing me I'll be posting it in june/july~

Still can't believe that I wrote all this text in one sitting. Took me around 3 hours including re-reading and fixing mistakes, that's crazy knowing how little of an attention span I've got.

Anyhow the dragoness belongs to Toshik22[at]FA, I liked her aesthetics and asked if it would be ok to draw her with my 'yote. She said yes, so here we are and just like Conrad going balls deep into Valerys, I went balls deep with what was supposed to be a shorter background plot x,D

Am done with the upcoming JAM art pieces for the rest of april and currently finishing up the two birthday-oriented pictures for may. The one with the 'yotes and Geno and the manly birthday pile. So I'm going to drive this one into the slow lane and do it later, probably summer/autumn. That will give me some time to forget and later re-read the story part to iron it out more. Turned out too long ( 4 pages in Word), but I as didn't want to do a generic bedroom scene, I had to pack as much plot and explanations for characters, without leaving glaring plotholes, as I could... the ending is a bit abrupt, but it was the best I had at that time~

I think the ending is fine as it is, because the picture takes over, showing just what happened
