Necromancer amputee design v1? (Patreon)

After a few tries on how I want the overall shape of the character, the sketch on the bottom of the page was the one I was satisfied with. It started with no hair, just the normal opossum fur and some basic clothing that‘s more important than additional accessories and clothing I’ve added later on. Basically I’ve sent out to give them a cape to hide the missing limb, a hoodie for cool shots you know how it is, and the skull. I haven’t finalized what the skull means but for now it’s the skull of a fellow opossum, a friend or family of theirs.
One of my earlier shape sketch of the body was a hunched back, pretty much a more senior or the typical old mad necromancers in other medias. I played Warcraft 3 so much as a kid so a lot of my initial thoughts on the class are old, experienced, wise, or undead themselves. For this character though, I wanted them to be in their 30s so not as old but mature and experienced in their craft, which is why I gave them the goatee and ear tip details that I’m sure you guys have seen in my Dobie art from ACNH.
Additional clothing and details were added later on because the first sketch was a little too basic. Strip them of the hood and cape and it’s really just a opossum with a missing limb. I wanted the hair to be ruggedly handsome and not messy and crazy if you get what I’m saying. Not the best at designing clothing but I try. I might change it in the future but right now it’s looks alright. I can memorize it to draw multiple times without a guide and that’s how I like to design my characters.
Then finally the staff... or should I say axe/staff. The teal gem is what’ll let them practice necromancy with the arm and they can remove the gem from the staff and place it on the bottom middle of the hood. Haven’t gotten to the undead arm/s design yet but I’m getting there. For now, here’s what I made.
