Hey everyone! 👋

Quick heads up—we had a bit of a mix-up with the Peaky Blinders episodes recently. 😵‍💫

After watching 5x4 during the week, we thought we had already seen 5x5 (thanks, Netflix, for marking it as “watched” on Chad’s account as he watches ahead! 😅), and we accidentally jumped ahead to 5x6 even after pondering that something seemed off.

This is a first for us in Diegesis history! 😓

Don’t worry though—after realizing our mistake we still went back to watch 5x5 , so everything is back on track now! 🙌

You’ll hear us talk about it in the 5x5 reaction and hopefully you'll understand why in the 5x6 reactions we ponder certain events, so we wanted to give you all a heads-up. Thanks for your patience, and as always, we appreciate your understanding! 💖

Hey, great reaction, and of course no big deal with the episode confusion. Just wandering if the 5×5 will be uploaded today??

Aside from the ptsd, the drugs, the loops and layers of schemes upon schemes Tommy's character has finally breached into the level that the Russian dutchess or whatever she was was talking about in the other season. The level of society where only money, will, action, and chaos make decisions. She told him madness would free him and she refers to the way of thinking that those who rule and control act with. There are those that lay plans, those who lead and those who follow, the scavengers that wait for the bigger predators to make their moves before they take action themselves, and Tommy is like the little fish in thos old school games that keeps getting bigger and bigger, adapting and trying to pick the right currents to survive. I think we see Tommy start to lose it a bit because he's a big fish but Mosely is a shark. Mosley was born a shark playing the sharks game with kings and other similar forces, and while Tommy makes big waves he still has people higher up than him in the hierarchy that he has to answer to. That's where Ada's baby daddy comes in as liason between Tommy and the "feds". I get the impression that while mosely probably has a boss man he has a bit more movement capabilities on the board available to him than we've seen in previous antagonists in the series so far.

That was too much typing and I don't even know why I did all that lmfao it's too early for that kind of thinking. 😂🫠😂

In case you guys didn't know, Oswald Mosley was an actual fascist politician in the 1920s. The actor looks very similar to him as well, they did a fantastic job with the casting.
