I honestly had forgotten Ned was a character before I started watching y'alls reaction 😂😂

When it comes to Sansa, she's a thirteen-year-old girl of the time who was raised to trust the authority of the realm, and the law, and do what is expected of her. She's confused, stressed out, overwhelmed, and alone. She doesn't have the instincts to navigate what's happening and has never been taught to listen to her gut or intuition. She's behaving in the way she has always been taught to. To me, this I think is a commentary on how harmful the systems and ideologies and social structure within their caste is. If anything her characterization is an indictment of the world of Westoros' nobility and how it relates to women of social standing specifically.

In the books Tyrion's story is much worse. It turns out that Tysha isn't a whore and essentially gang raped by his father's guards.

Headed straight home so I can dive head first into this episode. Now I'm heading over to my digital copies of GoT so I can use the eyes and ears in my head and enjoy this content. Head Stark.

Well, this was quite an episode! A few thoughts. 1. When I first read the book, I literally threw it across the room when Ned was executed! I was so upset about the author killing a favorite Character. (I did the same thing again later on, I will not say anymore but if you know, you know!) 2. Ladies unleash your hatred for Joffrey—God knows he deserves it!!!! 3. As for the war, young Robb already outsmarted the vaunted Tywin Lannister and captured his son Jaime. So perhaps he won’t be as cocky next time! (Lannisters are sooo smung)

After that beginning is Sopranos on the cards for the future? Such an amazing show!

Robb would’ve received the Stark family sword if not for Joffrey, and here Jon Snow gains the Mormonts house sword, idk what it means I just like it

Pretty funny how Aemond tells Jon “Lord Stark would choose honor over family” but we literally see him choose his family and lie about his traitorous actions to save them. Love is the death of duty, even the most honorable man in the kingdom chose love over duty in the end.

Every scene with Tywin is just👌🏻

Love how everything that happens to Dany is her own fault, all cuz she wanted to keep pushing foreign customs onto people who were living their own way of life before she was ever even a thought.

Andrew Clifton

Holy shit my notifications were off!!!!!! Good thing this football game sucks cause Tua died again and I'm watching this now. RIP 🙏

👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 Thank u guys for all u put into this. For me, this hit me much harder the second time I watched it and on. The first time I was just shocked. I had read the books a long time ago but all I remembered was names. I love how u guys notice how much Cersie was trying to stop it but what could she do 🤷‍♂️. She didn't realize the type of monster she was creating.

LSTER

Hey welcome to Diet Jesus my name is Maple

Capt. Scott

I wish they would've included it in the show. Would've made Tywin look like even more of a prick

I'm thinking the recipe for old world smoky eye is probably just, ash. Maybe mix in some scented oil, even a little dye if you want it more purple or more blue or what have you. I imagine in a magical world, certain woods might make better ash, I wouldn't fuck with the weirwood trees, but maybe a, oh shit Ned Stark's head is off!

Adam Vialpando

Unfortunately it was among the many cuts they made to make Tyrion a 100% good guy. Because apparently fan-favorite characters can't have darkness in them.

And thus begins the pattern of the penultimate episode being the best episode of the season.

Jonathan Blaze

I was in total disbelief when poor old Ned lost his head.

Mariah Fallon

In the scene, Aemond is a little dubious that Ned would choose honor over his family, his comments kind of imply Ned may choose family. It's Jon who insists he would always choose honor.
