___________

You were warned not to go into the Freezing Forest.  But here you are, standing in front of a yeti.

You stare up at the creature, mouth agape.  The creature stares back, its giant eyes squinting in the snowfall.  “Yeti sees human,” it mutters.  Then it opens its mouth.  “Yeti hungry.”

Hungry?  It can’t be referring to you, can it--?

A giant hand reaches out and snatches you from the ground.  You are brought up, up, up, to the yeti’s open mouth, which displays a sickening amount of saliva and spittle within, which drip from teeth and tongue galore.  And behind it all, the creature’s throat looms, beckoning you to the destination. . .

Shit.  “No, please!” you say, squirming in the yeti’s grip, trying your hardest to escape.  “Let me go--mmph!”

You are shoved into the creature’s maw and immediately covered in spit, which drips on your body and turns you from dry to wet in a second.  You writhe around, trying to get out, but the yeti’s hand shoves you inside.  Then, the maw closes, shutting you off from the outside world.

/GULP!/  You are forced forward into the creature’s tight throat, which squeezes around your body with compact muscle.  The yeti swallows quickly, bringing more and more of you inside the esophagus until your whole body is traveling down.  You hold your breath, not wanting to reach your destination, but you must.

Eventually, you slip inside the stomach: a large, growling space surrounded by wet walls and a soaked floor.  Bit by bit your body makes its way inside, until finally, you’re all in.  The throat closes behind you.

“Yeti full,” you hear the creature say.  “Yeti rest now.”

“Hey, let me out!” you cry.  “LET ME OUT!”  But it doesn’t respond.  Will it actually release you, or are you doomed?

You can only wait and find out. . .
