Featuring Synthis ( https://toyhou.se/10908579.synthis ) and Titus ( https://toyhou.se/11166061.titus ).

__________

Synthis, a crow demon, had spotted her target.

She licked her lips as Titus approached, and when the cat was close enough, she charged forward, tackling him into an alleyway.

“What the--?!” Titus cried out, landing on the ground.  He looked up at Synthis, confused.  “Who are you?  What do you want from me?”

“Oh, you don’t know me?” the demon asked, grinning.  “I know you, mage.  I’ve had my eye on you for quite a while now--and I want your soul.”

Titus tried to push himself up, but Synthis went on top of him, pinning him down.  “You’re not going anywhere,” she said.  “Now, I’m going to eat.”

She whispered words in the demonic tongue, and a moment later, Titus’s soul began to leave his body: it was a pale, glowing essence that rose up from his heart.

Titus had been seeing the world through his head’s eyes, but once his soul began to leave, his consciousness transferred to it, making him see the world from /its/ eyes.  Looking around, he saw his body was unconscious, and that Synthis was drooling.  He couldn’t speak anymore in this state, and the cat let out a silent scream of horror as the crow demon came forward, and shoved his soul into her mouth.

The drooling, wet maw of the demon contained him nicely, and the soul was licked all over by her wet tongue.  “Mmmm!” Synthis said, making Titus shiver.  “Such a tasty little spirit.  Your magical essence is better than I could have imagined. . .”

Her tongue shoved him to the back of her throat.  /Oh no!/ Titus thought.  /Is she going to. . .?!/

/Gulp!/  Synthis swallowed the soul down, sending Titus into her tight, squeezing esophagus.  Her throat bulged out with his presence, and the demon smiled as she watched that bulge travel further and further down.

Titus could hear growling below him--growls of hunger, he realized.  Panicking, he tried to float his soul up and out of the mouth, but thanks to the confines of the esophagus, he couldn’t move.  He was trapped, unable to escape this horrible situation.

And then, he reached it.  The soul slid out of the throat and entered Synthis’s stomach: a wet, wide space that grumbled with hunger, and dripped fluids from its walls.  His presence caused the belly to bulge out too, and he was squeezed against the sides of the groaning gut, once again unable to move.

Synthis sighed with relaxation and patted her full stomach.  “Mmm, such a tasty little morsel,” she purred.

“Now, what to do with you. . .?”
