Episode 1: "A million yen is the beginning of love?!"
Riku Haneda, a 20-year-old university student who aspires to be a novelist, is bewildered by the sudden marriage of his older sister Ayaka, but then he finds a flyer for a "New Writer Discovery Contest." The grand prize is 1 million yen! He quickly decides to take on the challenge, but the theme is "love," something Riku lacks experience in. So Riku consults his friend Rei Mochizuki, who is reputed to be the most popular guy at school, and on Rei's recommendation, he signs up for a matching app. He immediately begins communicating with a woman named Misaki Nikaido...

Episode 2: "Promise of a First Date"
Riku registers on a matching app to gather material for writing a novel about "love." Pressured by his younger brother Kai's forceful assistance, he arranges a date with Misaki, who is the same age as him and loves reading. However, Misaki is actually faking her age... Unaware of this, Riku is racking his brains to devise a date plan. While choosing what to wear on their date, Riku gets excited with Kai and Rei!

Episode 3: "I want to meet you and talk to you..."
Riku heads to the meeting place for his date with Misaki and waits nervously for her to arrive. However, he receives a message from Misaki saying that she cannot go due to sudden trouble. Riku is depressed believing that Misaki might have left after seeing his face and clothes, having actually made it to the meeting place. Later, Riku, advised by Rei that "talking on the phone will let her know how you wanted to see her," takes the plunge and calls Misaki!

Episode 4: "Undercover Investigation of Love?!"
Riku realizes his sister's fake marriage through a text message that Ayaka mistakenly sent. Later, Riku sees a woman who looks like Misaki at La blanche and suspects that she may be lying about her age. To find out the truth, Riku begs Ayaka to hire him as an intern at La blanche in exchange for not revealing about the fake marriage. Riku then uses the alias "Taisei Suzuki" and sneaks into La Blanche with Rei!

Episode 5: "Is Being Younger a No-no?"
After revealing his true identity to Misaki, Riku meets her again at a cafe. Riku apologizes for coming to La blanche as an intern, while Misaki apologizes for lying about her age. Moreover, Riku says frankly that age was not an issue; he just wanted to know what kind of person Misaki was. Misaki honestly confides in Riku how she came to sign up for the matching app...

Episode 6: "First Confession..."
Riku was suddenly told by Misaki not to contact her anymore. Rei tells Riku that love would be easier if he knew both the feelings of the person he likes and his own feelings. Just then, Riku happened to run into Misaki at a park! When Riku asks Misaki why she told him not to contact her anymore, Misaki answers honestly that she is still concerned about the age difference. Riku, who still likes Misaki, takes drastic action!
