Happy New Year 2025! And a Year in Review! (Patreon)

Ahoy Patreons!

Happy New Year to you all! A New Year, and 2 new characters for Genshin! Hope you all your best wishes - wishing you a happy, healthy, wealthy life in the coming year! May you get all the waifus you pull on! :D

I've been running this Patreon for a little over a couple years now - it's been a fantastic experience thanks to everyone that has supported us and helped along the way! I've met a great group of friends doing this thing that I'm enjoying. It's very much a dream job - easy to keep the passion up for the work when the subject matter is so much fun to deal with! :D

We've also expanded the number of games that we've modded across the year - expanding from Genshin to Star Rail, then for a little while Palworld, and eventually Wuthering Waves then Zenless Zone Zero upon its release!

New Games, New Challenges

Across the coming year, more exciting and interesting games will be released - Neverness to Everness, Project Mugen/Ananta, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth... all looking exciting and worth modding in their own right! Even the new big hero shooter - Marvel Rivals, that I've been enjoying with our modding friends a lot, is moddable!

Unfortunately as it stands, I'm already stretched thin trying to mod the games that we support - I'm sure our loyal Wuthering Wave subscribers have noticed the lack of WuWa mods over the last month while I work hard on Miyabi and then Mauvika!

Working Nonstop!

Speaking of stretched thin - I've also worked nearly non-stop for 2+ years! More (continously) than I have in the entire rest of my life :D so I think I've probably earned myself a break or two... I've been planning to travel a little this year. Even so, I plan on keeping this Patreon open during those times by preuploading content.

But in general, I think we've gotten to a point where I have to step back a little and consider both my work-life quality as well as the quality of the stuff I'm putting out. While I'm still happy with what I'm creating - there's no doubt that the compteition in this space has increased over the last couple years. There are now a plethora of talented modders working on making awesome mods.

I still think that I'm amongst those modders - but I can't say for sure I'm always making the best mods possible! A lot of that simply comes down to the fact that we're modding so many games AND putting out mods everyday - the process of which also takes a good chunk of time.

Expanding the Team... ?

Over the last couple years I've recruited a number of team members - most of them haven't worked out tbh - I'm a very hands off kind of manager - I simply need that time to actually make the mods, so I don't have time to babysit people and make sure they do what needs to be done - Never has been exceptional in that regard, able to get things done based on a good understanding of what we've done and what the general direction is!

At this point, I'll have to pull back on Wuthering Waves support a bit - while I'd still like to get back to that game, I simply don't have enough time to get everything done across characters, while maintaining the quality I'd like to maintain! Of course that support is contingent on the time and resources I have to make mods for these games... so I'll still be looking for new team members to help in this journey!

In fact, if you're reading this and you're interested in working on lewd mods alongside our team - you have a good technical aptitude, and you have the right mindset to help grind out this work alongside us, send me a DM! Ideally you'll have looked into and done some modding work already - either some texture edits, or ini edits, or even attempted to make some mods via Blender and the associated GIMI/XXMI tools.
