Wilderness (Patreon)

Our last night in the Blue Mountains, where we stayed for a month. This place, the Grose Wilderness, and other wilderness areas, are my main connection with Australia and it’s the thing I’ll miss the most.

It was kind of sad as we stood there in silence, the sun setting behind the western edge of the Blue Mountains, listening to the familiar whistling of the breeze through the clifftop Casuarinas and the distant turbulence of the Grose River 1000 feet below.
