Harry Kim and the Kim Crew on Lower Decks!!!! Finally!

Elisabeth Westner

Ok, now I'm wracking my brain and trying to figure out - without googling or rewatching the episode - who got their nose broken during the series finale. Don't tell me, I wanna see if I can guess!

Elisabeth Westner

Ok, I think I figured it out. I had a few guesses but finally read up on production of the series finale. It doesn't say outright the the nose was broken but the person had to spend a few days recovering after getting hit, so I think it's pretty obvious who it was. Anyway, one of my few guesses was correct. I feel bad for that person but it's also kind of funny in a not-funny kind of way (if you know what I mean).

The story reminded me of Voyager's Scorpion episode. I also liked the question about the premise of the crashed ship - it felt like a setup. That could have been an interesting storyline to pursue later.

Armin and Robbie have already been on Lower Decks. I also hope to see Terry this week!

This was a character development episode for Odo. He was clearly torn because he identified with the baby and what would happen when he was tested by Starfleet. You could see him being overwhelmed and hijacked by his feelings. Jake is the B story. As for the Jem Haddar, he is incapable of “choices” his fate is sealed. His sole purpose for breathing is to fight and kill as designed by the Founders. I thought it was very clever how they did the character development and still forwarded the story about the Dominion, the Jem Haddar and the Founders.
