The Sailor's Wife / Slip It In Easy
We love jigs, so much so that every now and again we just have to record a set of them. The first, a well known session tune in Scotland and England, has been in Kevin's repertoire for years. The second, a lesser known tune, was learnt from the playing of good friend and fiddle player Scott Hartley. He tells us it has Cumbrian origins, one of only a few we know from the North West tradition. The tune is a cracker, not least a catchy title.
Featuring Kevin Lees (fiddle) and Sebastian Bloch (guitar).
