Does any one know anything about the origins of this tune? Kevin learnt it in a session a few years back!

Thank you!!!!!!!! I have been feeling the urge to write a dance over the last week or so, but have needed some tune inspiration to get me going. This has done it! There will be a dance written to this tune in the not too distant future. Am I right in thinking that this is a 32bar tune played fully through 3 times with a 16 bar intro (?) and an outtro as well (not quite sure how long that is!)???

Wow that's exciting! Yes you're right, the tune is 32 bars and we play it 3 times here with a 16 bar intro. The outro is also 16 bars long. Looking forward to seeing the dance one day, keep us updated :)

I will!!! I have also written dances to a couple of your other tunes; ‘Margaret’s Waltz’ ‘Eric Stephenson of Crookhill’ & ‘The Reconciliation’ these tunes are all perfectly recorded for English and American dance so thank you!!!!
