Hiya. The model update cycle continues, but yesterday I learned a new thing for myself, such as "constraints" thanks to which i can do what I could not do before, or rather, I could do it, but not without a fear that I could break the whole chain of modifiers, shapekeys and other things, if i will change something in topology. Now I can. Thanks to these things, I can now make anatomically correct deformations of the limbs, for example, correctly deform the collarbones, shoulder blade on the back, draw some muscles and ligaments under tension, which is a small detail, but the whole scene consists of these small details, which in combination gives an impressive result) Also, I finally decided to redo all my textures, like Specular / Roughnes, Displacement / Bump. Before, I generated them just from a diffuse texture, so I can’t get a lot of information from the color map, but fortunately DAZ3D has the textures I need. I practically integrated them into mine, but this is accompanied, as usual, by routine problems that take a huge amount of time. Even now in the preview, I already noticed a huge increase in detail, especially at the ends of the limbs, such as fingers, toes, elbows, neck, etc. In any case, as soon as I finish, I will demonstrate the result, and this time I am testing it all on Sindel, in fact, most likely there will be the next work with her and perhaps a more detailed technical report.

Oh yeah, as soon as you start working with some proper textures, you notice how much better your work can be, I remember I had a time when I didn't have a specular map plugged in, highlights looked fairly uniform across the model and it looked kinda shit, I realised my mistake, plugged in the specular and it went from looking kinda shit to looking REALLY good, I've also baked my own normal maps in the past using SubD Level 4 Geometry and HD morphs from Daz, now if you want to go through the slightly laborious task of baking your own normal maps, it is soooo worth it, the level of detail you can get is insane.

Looking forward to seeing the results!😀

I already did it 4 years ago) I baked muscles form genesis 2 body into normal map)

Yup, gen2 textures is shit, maybe rig too, not tested) but the shape of very pronounced muscles is very good, so when it is on 100% it's just looks like meat muscles without skin. So i bake it on my mix of gen3 and gen 8 model)
