An update on our PDFs (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone! Zoran here with an update about our PDFs.
For those who may have noticed, we have been struggling to finish two PDFs a month. Either causing them to be completed at the end of the month or, lately, us missing an entire month.
First off, we would like to apologize. We are not fans of disappointing you all, and we would like to offer a refund to any who private message us here on Patreon if you’re on the Adventurer Tier. It’s our apology for not delivering any PDFs last month.
Throughout the years we’ve been doing this show, we’ve done our best to provide high quality PDFs. We’ve created adventures, monsters, lore, maps, tokens, and more, the volume comprising a hefty book’s worth of content so far, and we are extremely proud of it. But, due to our changing lives, we have decided to adjust how we handle the PDF side of things.
The real powerhouses that make the PDFs happen are OnCallGM and ToTellStories. Without their expertise, we wouldn’t be able to output as much PDF content as we have been. The other players and I do our best to write up monsters or lore pieces when we can, but it’s a real challenge with real life getting in the way. OnCallGM, with his promotion to Associate Publisher at Paizo, has his time being taken away bit by bit due to his new responsibilities. Along with ToTellStories’s life adjustments, doing two PDFs a month isn’t sustainable. So here is the plan.
Instead of doing 2 PDFs a month, we will now be doing one PDF a month. The subject matter, it being Rotgrind, isn’t changing. From now on, we will add a little more effort into that singular PDF than making two separate ones. For example, if we were to make a monster PDF, it would include two to three monsters, basically a pack of them, instead of just one monster.
The goal is to lessen the workload on OnCallGM & ToTellStories, still provide you with a quality product you’re paying monthly for, and allow us time to put more effort into the shows.
Once more, we apologize for being late on PDFs last month, and we hope you accept this compromise.
