[Big Update] Name Change, New Patreon Tiers, and future benefits. (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

I’d like to introduce you to Narrative Declaration. The new name the crew has banded behind to bring you laughs, adventure, and now TTRPG content for your own games.

I wanted to keep everyone informed of why we changed the name, along with our plans and philosophy moving forward. This post should answer and address all that’s going on. First I wanted to talk to everyone personally. It might get a bit sentimental so prepare yourselves.

I’m ZoranTheBear, and I’ve been doing this online thing for about 10 years. It has been rough, but all of you make the struggle to put on these shows, make these videos, and tell these stories worth it. I love entertaining people, and seeing your support for what we do here has justified the years of yelling in microphones and the countless hours working on all these projects.

In 2019 I made the decision to go full time with content creation. On January 15th, 2020 I acted on that decision and dedicated a lot of my time to bring WarHams to everyone. It became one of my biggest passion projects, and it became such a labor of love that I found myself losing more sleep than I’d like to admit working on the show.

I wanted to say thank you for supporting what we do here. And I’d like to say thank you to the crew itself. None of us would be here today without them. They’re all phenomenal performers, creators, and friends.

Thank you for supporting us. Here is to future adventure and stories filled with laughter!

I also wanted to open the post for the crew to say a few words. Some where busy sadly by the time we requested everyone's words.

Earndil - Hoy, Earndil here, not been on the streaming scene ever, this is my first and only experience with the process and it has been quite interesting. I’m a writer by trade working for Alfabusa on the projects he has put together, along with countless other tasks that I do with him, so I’d like to think I know how to adapt and adjust to new things.

Being honest with you this business is still totally new to me, but it has been damn fun trying to figure things out both on and off stream. Everyone has been so kind to us while we work out the kinks and sort things out behind the scenes, and I’m hoping to help pay that back to you guys with our new project, and hopefully projects in the future.

We’re hoping that the viewerbase will continue to expand as we get things rolling again, so more people can hang out with us and see the stuff we have planned. It’s always nice to get more people in on an in-joke after all. Zoran and Thurston have busted serious ass in regards to the show, and my co-players are no slouches either, so be sure to give them some love too!

HulkyKrow - Here we are again, but as always it’s been a pleasure. It’s still Hulky as it’s always been (or Krow, whatever pleases you) and I’m just as new to this whole streamer/content creator shenanigannery as Earndil, but holy smokes if this past year and a half has taught me a ton! For new and old fans alike, I’m predominantly a voice actor (I worked for Alfa, Earndil, and a number of other creators to lend some funny voices for funny characters) but also act as the Community Manager for Zoran & Narrative Declaration!

You, the fans, have been such a driving force to bring this ever-evolving project to you week after week, and the feedback and kindness you’ve given us is absolutely refreshing, and makes myself and the other members of the team so happy to keep coming back! But enough schmaltz, because I am here to help people acclimate, listen to their comments, criticisms, and whatever they have to say, and be your liaison between creator and fanbase. All these extremely talented people I’ve had the privilege to work alongside are hard at work outside of the show, so please do them the flavor of checking out the various projects that they’re working on and give them some deserved love, too?

We hope that you’ll stick around for what we have in store, and that we’ll keep growing as our fanbase grows. When it comes to having people see you get dunked on by friends and do a little dunking yourself, the more the merrier! Much love to you all.

OnCallGM (Thursty) - Holy crap folks. If you asked me when we started this project that it would be as successful as it was I would not have believed it. Even as we’re stepping into the uncharted territory of leaving the 41st Millenium, I am constantly touched by the outpouring of support from the community that has formed around us ‘chucklefucks’ over the past year and a half. Everything we’re able to accomplish is a testament to how the community keeps up propped up and supported. As the GM, I can’t wait to tell new stories in a new world, but I also look forward to bringing that level of humor in the face of overwhelming grimdark that you’ve all come to know and love. So yeah, let’s roll some dice, play some games, and see how our players plan on torturing me!

Here are some details on what’s changing and things we want you to be in the loop for.

1. We are no longer being called WarHams as a group. WarHams will remain the name of our Warhammer themed campaigns. We as a group will be called “Narrative Declaration” for now on. You may see our campaigns named something different under the ND name. Something like “Narrative Declaration: Rotgrind”

2. Our new main campaign will be called Rotgrind. And the setting/world we’re creating will be called “The World of Tyne.” You can find out more about this in this primer: https://www.patreon.com/posts/59510470

3. The Patreon will be experiencing a major re-adjustment. We’ve adjusted the tiers to give more bang for the buck to everyone. We’ve also unpublished the older tiers to give people a chance to transfer over to the new tiers if interested.

We wanted to also explain what you get with each tier and the purpose of them.

Tier 0 - For those wishing to support us. We wanted this tier to offer more than it did last time. On Top of some behind the scenes looks, we also wanted to make this tier a sort of whitelist system for any community game servers.

Tier 1 - This tier remained the same as before. We added in the credit scroll mention, and access to any exclusive Patreon campaigns we do. Along with beginning the discord role to this tier. We wanted to add more to this tier for those supporting the video content of the show.

Tier 2 - This tier is for our PDF and art content. For every tier you get everything in the lower tiers. And we wanted to make this tier something affordable but enough for us to afford developing the custom PDF content for everyone. Along with the PDFs, and if applicable such as being a PDF with monsters, there will be tokens and handout cards paired with them. So if you wish to use them in your games, you will be prepped to use them.

The other tiers are avenues we wanted to open for people with generous hearts to support us in a big way.

4. The Discord will be experiencing a major re-adjustment. New name and some adjustments to prepare ourselves for the future.

You may notice some unfished art/placeholder art. Some of the art here is temporary. And we're working on stuff like a new logo and visual design for everything.

As for the previous tiers everyone was in. We will leave these up for people to keep access to their previous items. We will inform everyone when this changes.

The image above is just a preview of the monster PDFs we plan to release. There will be two unique monsters coming this month. Right now we're making different types of tokens for you all to use, so it's delaying the process just a tad.
