Last eps for this kdrama! Overall a smart premise for a romantic comedy! I do feel that Im Sol's character could've been written tighter and some fantasy aspect needs a bit more clarity as it's such a complex fantasy, but mostly amazing writing nonetheless!

Will keep you guys posted on the next kdrama reaction!

And you know actually I think Sol does have some sort of control over when she goes back in time. I think she just has to think of a specific thing that she wants to change like stopping him from being scouted by that CEO/manager guy and from competing in that meet so he doesn’t get injured. Cause I think he says in an interview that he became an idol after he got injured. Also, she goes back to 2009 when they’re in college Before that creepy dude/stalker tries to kidnap her again. Because in the future Sunjae gets stabbed as revenge because he gave the witness statement that helped put that guy away in prison. Then for the final time she has to go back to when they first met.

Jeff some small companies in Korea might work like a small family that's why the CEO treats Sol like that, it is not so unrealistic in Korea ( a little exagerated but not totally unrealistic). Fun fact I read the original web-novel for this drama and the plot has waaayyy more loopholes than the drama. For example in the web-novel Sol is not disabled and she is just a hard stan of Sun Jae. The novel was strongly criticized because Sol seemed like a stalker. Also in the novel the Taesung character is non existant. So I think the writer for the drama tried their hardest to make it a little bit more coherent and lovable.

No, I totally agree with your detailed analysis/critique of the drama. I think Kim Hye yoon’s and Byeon Woo Seok’s acting/chemistry/visuals and the comedic relief provided by the supporting helped me get past the weaker points in the writing. Those there was many great writing choices as well.

I actually would really love to hear your thoughts about Record of Youth the drama Park Bo Gum ironically did right before enlistment. Byeon Woo Seok is the 2nd Lead. I think you might enjoy and relate to this drama. Bogum and Woo Seok play models turned rookie actors. Record of youth was emotional wrenching /deeper than I expected. Your insight would be interesting. To see how realistic, the struggles Park Bo gum’s character goes through to become a successful actor

I remember you said not to spoil it in your first reaction video but Byeon Woo Seok is actually the one singing Rain Shower and all the songs that are by “ Eclipse” in the OSTs. He took vocal lessons in preparation.

the part you rewatched twice was when the friend accidentally sent Im Sol's script to Sun Jae instead of the original one because she was distracted by the phone call, they did establish that scene, they even put that in the subtitle. I don't know why you rewatched that part twice and still didn't notice that 😂

Regarding him taking her to his place, tbh, i think its not that weird, he's with manager so its prob easier to go to his house than go to hers...esp if its emergency... Though I def think there are thungs I would pinpoint as well with this drama. I think its good but not the best I've watched. I think it got big because of the plot itself, imagine your idol having a crush on you hahaah and def love both their acting. In the end, i'm just happy Woo Seok finally got his break 🥰

i know you don't usually watch thats not too new, but i want to recommend twinkling watermelon for your next one! watched this drama without any expectation but it easily became one of my favorites now. choi hyunwook is also there (he starred in 25 21 and weak hero class)

Appreciate your honest critique 🥰 There are so many loopholes and whatever but I personally enjoyed this drama than My Demon or any other recent dramas. simply bcoz it gives me an old kdrama vibe with less toxic ppl (w/c is so common in kdramas nowadays) and the plot itself was fun. As a kdrama/kpop fan for almost 20yrs, I can put this on my top list of kdrama that I would love to rewatch if I just want to feel good 😊

I think he taking her home is simply bc he has a thing for her. Kinda like how the original SJ fell for her the moment she smiled at him. I think the writer wanted to point out with the dialogue that his action is contradictory and not logical bc he’s jsut making an excuse to take care of her. It’s his character from the start to be heads over heels for her the moment he saw her basically
