Hi all,

I’ve been MIA this weeek since some friends wanted to hang out while I’m here in the Philippines. I figure I should just go do a lot of my catching up with friends this week before awards season starts this month and I can really buckle in. Will be filming lots this week!

Anyway— Seunghan going solo…

A lot of you guys are aware of this now as SM announced this recently. I haven’t fully processed it as I’ve been so busy.

With that said, I am so disappointed. We were fighting for something so much bigger than RIIZE here. We were fighting for these companies to start ignoring the toxic fans and focus on the many, many fans who truly care for these idols and love them for who they are and not for something that we think they should be. But I don’t know.. it feels like talking to a wall with SM 😔😔

Ok so for reaction purposes, I think I should just take this one step at a time because SM has made their decision (even though this isn’t the outcome we were hoping for).

Since I’m covering many groups anyway, I will be reacting to RIIZE’s award show season performances for the other members despite what we were hoping for which were OT7 performances. I will also be covering Shotaro’s AOTM performance here - to celebrate Shotaro himself. The comebacks, I don’t know yet. What do you guys think?

Of course we’ll check out Seunghan’s solo next year.

tbh w you, i didn’t see the point of announcing it now.. it just felt like sme wants to shut off the fans and the FACT that they CANNOT put him BACK in the group but let him DEBUT solo like nakakaputang ina😭… they cant even protect him in a group so how they gonna do that when he’s solo? its literary giving a lucas treatment.. and YK how sme is when they announce sum shit, they never fully commit to it thus the BOYCOTT should CONTINUE until HE LITEREALLY GETS BACK!.. im lowkey fine with u reacting to their contents bits and bits since we also love the members🫡🥰

Personally I won’t be watching anything related to RIIZE anymore and it’s not only because of boycott but because i just can’t i need to prioritize my emotional health , and we are still fighting for Seunghan to be in RIIZE. I will respect ur decision to support other members though ❤️ and will u react to Korean Grand Music Award 2024? there were great performances yesterday

Seunghan was my least favorite when they debut so it’s a lot when i say this, continuing to react to them after what happened, is exactly what SM wants and why the boycott will never work. If we are just to accept any decision then it will not change anything since SM knows that we will bend anyway. I love the other members so much more but i think if we really stand with seunghan we should continue to boycott.

i still can;t accept their decision, i will wait for what will happen in mama because i am pretty sure that the projects of ot7 for mama will continue, they said to keep boycotting because maybe sm is still testing the water. solo is not fair to seunghan tbh. he's not that established yet because he was still rookie when he went to hiatus, and i believe if he decided to be a solo, it's because he doesn't want his hard work to go to waste, my heart is hurting for seunghan.

honestly i dont give a crap about the group or riize at this point after all the shit sm has done i cant support them I like the boys but i cant support this horrible management so i am just ignoring anything involving the group at this point. sm hybe are shitholes and not trying to fix any of their mistakes the only groups i even support from either company at this point are aespa red velvet newjeans and seventeen and its annoying cuz i was really interested in riize at the beginning cuz of nct they debuted so well but then everything happened and showed why everyone thinks sm is dying if aespa didnt exist they would be dead already with all the current nct drama and old drama taemin leaving etc. more companies should take the yg stance of its our artists personal lives none of ur business and dating should be normalized and idols should be able to talk openly about their experiences dating cuz we know they do it. If u let them be open it would get rid of these toxic fans. These groups dont have to rely on them, so i dont know why companies cave to them theyre such small amounts of toxic fans mostly in sokor global fans which should be sms main audience dont care if they date. i respect riize but im just done and i refuse to support after everything they messed up. Those fans really pissed me off the fact sm caved ended any hope of me supporting anything from riize ever again

It’s a bittersweet feeling. I’m happy that Seunghan can keep doing what he loves bc he was working so hard but we were also fighting for idols to be treated as a humans and this outcome just proved that SM treat and view their artist as products. So sad petty and unfortunate decision. As for comebacks I think they won’t have one till April 2025? (Not sure) so maybe you can think about it some more on what you wanna do and how you feel? And also to see what happens next with all the projects of ot7 (hoping that something works 🙏🏼) and everyone is so hurt rn and in my case, I feel so sad and mad every time I see something related to RIIZE but I also love them and their music is just so my taste but I’m not sure if my heart can take more of this feeling. I also feel that a lot of us just need time to heal? Idk but I think I’ll feel a lot better in the future about watching content of them if it’s with you? I enjoy watching literally anything with you hahaha so yeah. I’ll respect any decision that you make tho 🫶🏻

For me , it feels like damage control. SM also has a lot of example how they not handling solo promotion really well (Lucas for example) . I respect your decision to react to their content and im gonna watch it because of u , through you .. not the original link whatsoever. But yeah i hope seunghan will be back in riize tho not solo .

Sharing my take here since I feel like this is my only safe space 🙏 I'm so disappointed and upset about their decision. Like really SM? That's what you're gonna do? It's not the outcome we're hoping for 😔 It's really sad but seems like it's final and they already made their decision (which is so stup*d btw) With the boycott, if we still want to continue with this, should be both ways, right? I feel like if we decided to support Seunghan solo from now on, then I guess it's time to just stop the whole boycott for RIIZE. The purpose of boycott should be against SM and not the group. Supporting their solo announcement, while still boycotting the group - it's like we're just punishing the boys, and SM not getting any of it. The members are the only one suffering from it. Supporting Seunghan solo unfortunately means supporting SM as well and at this point, the boycott for RIIZE it just doesn't make sense anymore. 😔 I want to continue supporting the boys. They're not at fault. I don't want them to suffer with all these. But at the same time, I hope SM can still change their mind. (Been years, they never learned their lesson.)

i personally won't be watching anything related to RIIZE despite seunghan debuting solo. idk i think it's really disappointing and inhumane for sm to encourage that kind of toxic parasocial behaviour in especially kbriizes, and i don’t want to see that again

No can convince me this isn't SM's petty and shitty way to shush international briize. It's like them saying "Since you like seunghan so much! You can have him!".... There is literally no way he actually wanted to be solo. If he wanted it, he would've pursued it way before, definitely not now. If the hate got to him WHILE he was among his group members, does SM think it wouldn't get to him now that he's all by himself? The answer is they are well aware but they simply don't give a shit. SM clearly doesn't want to protect him and want to end his career, now since all the attention is on them and they can't do it so blatantly, they got him to go solo as a "career suicide." Since they can't do it themselves. Proof of this is that those very haters that wanted him out, don't even want him to go solo or have any career whatsoever! They won't stop until they ruin is solo debut and guess what? SM will listen to them once again and neglect him as they do with most solos. SM isn't dumb, they have a plan. It's just not in Seunghan's or our favor. That's why I will continue the boycott and won't accept their half assed plan. As should everyone btw.

For me, i will support both sides. It’s a disappointing result but other 6 member didn’t do anything wrong to get this endless boycott. As seunghan will debut as soloist, i think this is the last decision and we need to move on and make our own decision. So i think you just follow your own judgement that you can go through it and happy with it.

I think I won't be outwardly supporting RIIZE or Seunghan's solo activities. I love the boys but I'm just wholeheartedly disappointed with the whole situation and ultimately SM. That being said - I'll still be watching reactions of their content so that I can still enjoy the music they make without SM profiting. I don't know if that makes me a bad person but I'm tired of big companies treating their artists solely as money bags.

I won’t support Riize but I will support Seunghan just because he should know that he still has a lot of fans waiting for him to be an idol again.

At the end of the day i just want all them to be happy and healthy 🥲 maybe it was their final decision we’ll never know the discussion behind the scenes, but i just know for a fact that this was ultimately forced upon them and no one would have wanted things to end up this way

I still won't be consuming any of Rizee's content or Seunghan's as I do believe that companies should be held responsible for the mismanagement and mistreatment of their artists. I think this issue is just the tip of a way bigger one which is the toxic fan culture that all the kpop companies, not just SM by the way, still allow to this day in spite of their idols well being. If we stop the boycott now, we are showing SM and other companies that at the end of the day if they throw at us a half assed solution we will accept it and turn to a new page. And that will only affect the artists because we are giving free way to all these crazy fans to do the same to any other idols that do something they deem unacceptable by their twisted standards, as it clearly works as companies bend their knee to their demands. I believe that if this situation ends without real repercussions it will set a very nasty precedent, so that's why I decided to continue with this boycott. And it does pain me because those 7 boys don't deserve any of that and I really liked them, but I wouldn't feel ok with myself if I supported their activities because I would be in a way supporting the decisions taken regarding this issue. I do hope Rizee and Seunghan will have a bright future together or on separate ways because the talent they have and the hard work they put into their craft shouldn't go to waste, and that at some point I can stan them again, but I don't think its the right moment yet. Sorry for this long ass coment but I needed to get this off my chest.

Tbh I will still be boycotting and I hope others do too. I don’t mind you still reacting cuz I guess in a way it’s fans consuming from you and not the direct link on Riize channel or like Mnet. I don’t want SM to see the numbers rise for Riize again and think they won and everyone is moving on. We really got so many stores to stop their orders from SM and they didn’t event comeback yet so SM won’t really feel it until the next comeback and I think regardless of if Seunghan returns SM needs to address these anti fans and give us a clear update about the lawsuits they said they’ve been filing for over 10 months& now they need to punish those death wreath fans. Because they already are spreading stuff on another member so it’s literally on to the next for these psychos. And they feel vindicated like they did the right thing. It’s a really dangerous precedent SM just set. So wether Riize continues as 6 or 7 they need justice and be able to feel safe. And exactly what will change with his solo I mean as soon as his teasers drop the photos and edited texts will just get released and hated on again. And no matter how much the international crowd wants to support him there still needs to be a strong kfan base. And some of these fans are even scared to support because of how crazy and hateful these antis are. They will literally rush and give him a $5 debut and hide him after that. Even Taemin, Taeyeon, Kai had difficulties with their solos and how SM was handling it and fans have complained and they’re such big names so what exactly will they give Seunghan in comparison…

For me, ride or die, I will continue to support them and SH too. I love the boys so much. They need our love and support and I know they also want their fans to be happy. I respect and understand everyone’s opinion. I just don’t get it why attack people who won’t agree with one’s opinion or what not. Anger, hate, attack or negativities, direct it to the company, not the boys. They have nothing to do with this. They worked so hard for their dreams and aspirations, they don’t deserve it. This has been a long waiting game for SH return and justice. I hope one of these days it will be served. PS: As Anton always say “RIIZE will continue to rise” it’s awards season and year end performances. Let’s spread love and positive things. I hope they will get a grand prize this year 🧡🙏🏻 Lastly, to be transparent, I became a member here because of them and this is also my safe space with my thoughts and feelings, so thank you always Jeff 🫶🏻

It's sad Seunghan won't be able to join Riize again.. We were really anticipating his comeback with the group... I love Seunghan and I'm sure even when he's not on the group anymore, he would still want us to continue supporting the boys.. So I'm still gonna continue with Riize' journey.. and so I will support your new start as a Solo Seunghan... I really wish you all the best...YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF RIIZE SUCCESS!!!

I think he will never comeback with riize sadly but the boys deserve the support I love them so much and I will keep supporting them I hope you do too and keep react to them 🫶🏼
