the Wednesday reference is from the show Wednesday (Adams family) there's a scene at the prom I thing where she dance and the style of the dance is kinda corpse like I don't really know how to explain it so that's my best attempt since I know almost nothing about dancing 🤣

The Wednesday Reference for the Raven ball is a scene where the heroine wore goth dress to a ball party and danced with "weird" limb moves while not caring about other's opinions. Hanbin is saying it's similar to his tutting, which is a dance genre not widely seen in the k-pop industry even just in general not the genre male dancer would choose to specialize in. Although it's true that in recent 2 years of kpop, waacking, tutting, and voguing have become trendy but before boy planet, we rarely see these genres asides from SeulRene's naughty and all way back to one of SHINEE's song. Not saying Hanbin takes all the credits for these genres to become popular in kpop but he definitely contributed to this trend. Bada helped Hanbin for his beautiful beautiful performance! Thel1ve (Hanbin company) is the one that reached out to bada about it. Initially Bada isn't aware who thel1ve want her to help but as soon as she learned it's for Hanbin, she immediately agreed. This was all before Bada and her crew BEBE joined thel1ve few months ago (they are now labelmates). In one of Bada's youtube episode with Hanbin, she mentioned how she's willing to travel distance to teach Hanbin. It really is incredible how Hanbin knows so many iconic dancers in the industry and forms great relations with them as well.

Hanbin mentioned to Myungjae during MCD that he danced for 15 hours and Jaehyun was shocked but Hanbin said he was very happy that day. That's how I know how much Hanbin loves dancing. Just some fyi, Jrick choreographed for RIIZE multiple times, the iconic Mother was choreographed by babyzoo whom Hanbin took some waacking lessons from, and Spella has always been supportive of Hanbin since every now and then she would like posts from Hanbin.
