There this whole lore with BoyNextdoor and Onedoors (fandom name) we can tell when they are angry, and this performance they were mad because of the loud back track, because they pride them selves for singing live and there this whole thing on the internet about Hybe groups not singing live, this proved that they do because they sort of gave up and kept dropping the mic to show how loud the back track was. They also really cannot lip sing

And as someone who's been watching Winter since debut to now, like literally every fancam in every angle, her growth as a performer is amazing. Before my tope performers in Aespa were giselle and ningning but now Winter... woah. I know they were calling her an ice princess on stage but look at her now.

So sorry for bombarding you with info about BoyNextDoor they are just one of my ult groups so for the intro that was Jaehyun's self written rap he has many covers of self written raps (most viral one is Smarter ) but then it goes into Dangerous, this is pretty much their only real Hip Hop song but it's about being good kids wanting to sneak out to hang out on the roof with your friends, then it goes into Earth Wind, Fire this song was their main song from their How album (last part of a trilogy Who, Why, How) this song also gave them their first televised win on Music Bank they did one extra week to promote a completely different B-Side. Dangerous was a prerelease off of their last comeback 19.99 Nice Guy (mama awards) is the title track. This album is about leaving your youth behind and their inspiration was their maknae Woonhak (you called him cute/he kissed the camera at Mama's) because he just turned 18 on the 29th so in Korean age 19. They took a lot of inspiration from him.

Thank you Jeff for this! Yeah, you are right. Actually, lots of Aespa fans, new fans, and other reactors too said that they really grew up. I mean, their debut was phenomenal since their concept is new to the K-pop world, and most of the time people didn't really like their choreographies way back then because they usually performed without backup dancers, and people think they don't sync as one, but I think their song "Drama" was the one that started SM to change their style and their choreographers too. That's why their choreography started to be likeable to others. Aespa matches so well with their new choreographers. I am so proud of what they've become now; they're sweeping the awards this year like there's no tomorrow. They really deserve their back to back daesang! No wonder MAMA2024 presented them as "the artist whose name is a genre in itself."

Aespa growth and glowup this year are sooo SM Group classic . like its always 4th or 5th year of their career is when they got 3 comeback and those iconic song . its not a bad thing but this is just a trend i always observe with most sm group except some did blowup early like Exo with growl , one year after the debut .
