Facebook reminded me of this one (I used to post a ton of music stuff on Facebook over the years), and I thought this is still a very legit technique.
Allows you to place a sample of any length on song start and then start the song right after the sample and still keep the relevant bar structure (in Logic for example, you can add a sound before the song on "negative time" – hence the name).

That's a tight tip, Janne. I was just trying to figure out how to do that in reason not too long ago and ended up just kind of forgetting about it. I've been using a16bar structure a lot lately too. I'll see if i can give it a go using the tempo :)
