Lena Chapter 28 (Patreon)

I took Home Economics in junior high--they don't call it that anymore, I don't think. I think it's called Life Skills or something, now. I didn't take it because I thought it was easy. To me it sounded useful. I could already cook some, and I knew how to replace a button, but I figured the class would be a good idea. Baking is no problem. I like baking. Sewing...I'm not patient enough for sewing. I'm not quite as bad as Lena is (my dinosaur pillow turned out fairly dinosaur shaped and with a proper pocket) but I wouldn't ask me to sew anything important, and my stitches aren't pretty. Still, it was a better experience than my shop class, which was a huge mistake. (Shop class in general, if it's still called that, is probably great. Mine wasn't, mostly due to the teacher, and I ended up getting my first ever detention in that class. Why? Because I was late to class. Why was I late to class? Because the teacher in my class before that asked me to stay after and gave me a note to excuse me for being late. My shop teacher didn't care and I got a detention anyway.)
Hope you had an okay Valentine's Day. We don't really celebrate it much (except as an excuse to buy candy), but we did have a good day playing in the snow.
