Quick dev update - ITOH - 22 Aug 2024 (Patreon)

I am making good progress on the next update for In Their Own Hands. Currently, I believe that I will be able to release the alpha version by 1 September.

Initially, I wanted to do a shorter update in the middle of this month, but I really just need to get back on schedule with the monthly updates. So I am adding a couple more scenes (and adding some more text to some older scenes that lacked text) and will release it so that next month's development cycle will begin on the first of the month.

September will focus on the next update of In Her Own Hands. October will switch back to In Their Own Hands. And then updates will alternate monthly as originally planned. I am a bit frustrated that I have gotten so far off schedule lately, but I do want to remember that the development cycle is still much faster, and updates are more regular, than it was at other times in the past few years.

Here are some thoughts on the game 1 ) need to be able to keep her faithful on a fix the relationship path. Things to do this could be have her tell the mc she is not happy with an out of shape slob and allow the mc to go to the gym with her blocking the cheat path. Allow him to help clean the house on sunday . 2) make it so she doesnt go back to the male masseuse that touched her if she is happy ect. 3) get the park and other areas working . Have the mc call her on nights he has to work late. Sorry but the worst path in the game is stay loyal. As for the allow her to get other men the mc should have to agree on who she sleeps with and not have the feel that she is cheating on him when he told her she could use other men. And definitly dont have her get feelings for them. That path is like a sex toy path. As for the swinger path all agreed to group sex should be fine - but again no cheating . Lastly all bets should be off in an open relationship. They can fuck who they want but it seems all you focus on is the wife cheating . On top of that she feels like a gold digger and does not give a shit about the mc. Give the comments between them some real feeling . Have them talk about events - first group sex event the mc says they need to talk after it and never saw a talk.. dont make events happen and the then are never talked about again. And his friend coming over path is silly. The mc should be able to tell his wife how he feels about it . Just another time it looks like its all about how many dicks the wife can fuck. Other things that conversation they have when he tells her she is sexy should not have anything about fucking others in a relationship path game and the wife should only take one shower a day and make it so other sex situations can occur not just the shower and an occasional movie or bedroom scene. So much more but its getting long

It is a bit grindy but i would not like to see a wife complain to the mc on a fit it path and it gets fixed in a week. Took me over 2 months game time to get all of the stats to 100 for the wife with constant attention. My issue is even when she is at 100 percent she still goes to the parlor and gets her pussy rubbed. And there needs to be a way for the mc to go to the gym with his wife and block the gym flirting if stats are high enough. I also think there needs to be more detailed communication after events - when his boss looks at his phone, when she complains about him doing nothing for house work when he works late ect there should be a prompt for the mc to choose to fix that or not to improve or hurt the relationship.

One other comment you may wish to not call the completed eps final. Some people think it means the game is done . I would do something like ep# beta and ep#

Havent seen any updates but have a question in the walkthrough it says jenny can hook up with Leah and that will give her the option to think she is a lesbian - it did not give the choice - i then got the brian scenes which i tried to avoid. Was trying to get jenny to be with only women other than the mc what did I do wrong to get this not to work

When you sign up for the FuckR app, you can choose males, females, or both. If you pick females it should give you a second option. At that point, the Brian scene should default to what happens when you are not in an open relationship (though there may be a bug there that allows it to happen sometimes -- I have fixed the bug in the new update that should be finished this weekend). If that doesn't work, I will take a look to make sure that there isn't a coding issue somewhere in the way these trigger.

Ive now tried 3 times to get that event and i never get more than her telling the MC that it was just a fling... and there never is an option other than I'm interested in Female Likes and Dislikes and Fun Facts. No other options pop up. Ive never seen the Brian Scene with out Jenny and Brian hooking up. And I would love to see an option for the MC telling Jenny that he is very unhappy with what happened between them.

Ive seen a few other items in the walk through that have not occurred when I get some time I will do a deep pt after the update and see if i can get some of them to trigger. If not I will let you know
