The Trial of M. Night Shyamalan

Order! Order in the court!!! M. Night Shyamalan is being sued over his acclaimed (by us, I guess) Apple TV series Servant being eerily similar to a 2013 film called The Truth About Emanuel. Remember that movie? Probably not.

We've already endured 40 hours of testimony from the defendant, so now it's only fair to hear from the plaintiff. Will we discover that M. Night Shyamalan was, in fact, the sole audience member to see the film in Philadelphia over a decade ago?! Or will we award him a billion dollars for putting up with this crap? Overruled!!!!!

Wait. What, exactly, was the titular truth about Emanuel? I'm aware we're all here for the Eric and Jared's Funny Haha's™, but usually I have some sort of idea what's going on. Also, I sincerely hope that one of the jury members is a PMI fan and watches the commentary along with the movie. Your Honor, we the jury find the defendant not guilty on account of no tigers.

The only thing I know for sure is that we got an all time PMI line out of this movie: "He's going to fuck a flesh baby into her!" I was legit on my floor in tears holy hell man hahahaha I will also be on the jury... In Servant she brings the baby to life. In this movie, she yeets the baby. Just put this movie on Apple+ and call it good, Your Honor.
