Yep this was so good, I was smiling the whole way through. Wondering though if you were a little nervous for real at the start of the poem, it sounded like you were. No please no more Glühwein 🍷🙏 You can’t imagine what I’ve been through since yesterday. I mean I lost a battle and had to drink 3 or 4 (I can’t remember) full glasses of mulled wine and then it was peace over and out for me.....like I’m still deaded ☠️ Now srsly this was one of the cutest audios. I squealed seeing you chose to do this idea!! It was everything it could be and more!! Setting aside the romantic vibe of the couple, this one brought back my most cherished Christmas memory of my sister’s and I snuggling up to dad with our hot cocoas, with only the tree lights on and our dog squeezing in, he would read this to us, every year until my youngest sister was in high school. As much as we thought we were “too cool” for this tradition anymore, I missed it. If it’s in the cards for you, and I pray it is, you will be the most amazing husband and father one day!! I love your rendition of this classic. (I thought you were doing a live stream on Christmas Eve, kidding!) It's usually read slower, with kids seated around. You gave it the the G rhythm😁 love the bonus of going upstairs and getting some sugar afterward. Next reading, "Casey at the bat"
