Hello my sweet lovelies!

I have many ideas for sleep audios I plan to upload to the Gaelforce Comforts channel.

But as always I am very interested in your thoughts.

When you're going to fall asleep, what sounds soothe you?  Do you like music?  If so what kind?  Nature sounds?  What kind?  Talking? No Talking?  I am interested in what puts you out like a light.

I'll be ever mindful of your suggestions as I create.    I know everyone has different things than help them and I'd like to cover as many as I can.

Please leave me some suggestions below, even if it's just a few words in a list.  It all is important.

I like a bit of talking, breathing sounds, yawns make me sleepy too. For nature sounds, definitely waves and or rain.

Whispers and cuddles

Anonymous

I fall asleep to many things,Gael.😂whether it’s spice or just talking.

Anonymous

Gin ✌️

Elisa P

Me personally I like the sound of rain and crickets. Thanks for always caring so much about your audience, Gael! I am sure you will create wonderful audios.

Anonymous

For me, I need chat, lots of chat (just mind distractions mainly) and thunderstorm sounds 😘

Anonymous

I like some quiet talking, maybe some music, and definitely nature sounds. I particularly love thunderstorm sounds. I go to sleep listening to it most nights.

Prue

For me it's any of the following: Soft music, soft speaking/singing, breathing, heartbeat sounds and nature sounds. My favorites would have to be soft speaking/singing and breathing/heartbeat sounds though. ^_^

Anonymous

Perfect timing cos I'm about to sleep now! I find rain sounds help me a lot, chimes, those Tibetan meditation bowl sounds as long as they're not too loud. Soft talking is ok but if you tell too much of an interesting story it wakes me up instead 😂 Ocean waves and night cricket sounds soothe me too. Bird sounds I associate with mornings at my childhood home so those sounds wake me up 😅

Anonymous

I like rain, thunderstorms, and the sound of ocean waves crashing. Whispers and yawns are nice too. ❤

Anonymous

I love the sound of rain when I’m falling asleep. Be it rain against a window or tin roof or with the odd rumble of thunder. So many different types of rain ❤️ it’s just so soothing.

Anonymous

When my insomnia gets real bad I like listening to someone else trying to fall asleep 😴

Anonymous

I love the sound of your breathing, soft kisses. Bed sounds. Natural sounds would be rain and chimes are absolutely soothing, calming and relaxing. I also find fire crackling is very relaxing as well.

Anonymous

Meditationmusic, like binaural beats.. but murmurs is most important. Like soft murmuring just talking. I need something soothing to focus on or my thoughts will just take off racing. Oh. And hums. Idk why, they're just lovely.

Anonymous

i like listening to rain whilst going to sleep🤩✨

Anonymous

your voice seems to be all I need, I mean unless I'm actively participating even the spicy ones can make me fall asleep in the beginning, to wake up to you growling in my ear, demanding I do things, lol. Seriously, I would say rain always works, soft music in the background, telling stories is always nice.

Anonymous

G, what a wonderful idea. Ocean waves rolling and ebbing (without the seagulls 😄). Pretty please and thank you!

Anonymous

There's a particular kind of audio I listen to a lot for sleeping. I think the intentional portrayal is someone in bed with you, reading you to sleep. There's some bed rustling, pages flipping, a fire crackling, sometimes rain. And this calm voice, reading poetry or a story. Maybe some gentle cuddles and affirmations in between :3 Didn't realize how much I liked being read to sleep but I've fallen asleep to those on multiple occasions.

Anonymous

Rain, deep slow breathing, and heartbeat work great. Beach waves, binaural beats, chakra meditation, and even Skyrim soundscapes are very relaxing too. ❤ Good luck!

Anonymous

Personally a little talking and breathing/sleeping sounds with some general night noises like crickets would be perfect💕

Anonymous

I sleep with crickets on my Amazon Echo every night. I also love the sound of water like a babbling brook, rain sounds, breathing, quiet heartbeats, and your sleepy voice. Your voice in the cuddle and go back to sleep audios. That’s the voice. Music wise, sometimes I put on a quiet Medwyn Goodall playlist I made, or Enya’s album The Celts. When I was a newlywed and my husband worked nights I used to go to sleep with that album every night for a year.

Anonymous

With me it depends on the season. If it's hot out I like to listen to rain if it's cool I like to listen to music and during winter months I like to listen to fire wood. I do love it when you tell stories and then play natural sounds.

Delphine (half French half mad)

Soft spoken words, simple wave-like soundscapes, very minimalistic slow music, soft white noise, nature sounds (especially water whether it's rain, ocean waves or a simple stream), a slow heartbeat... All in all, lots of different things. Recently, I've been listening to your "atomic heart hugs" track on loop. The whispered Irish lullaby part is very soothing :)

Anonymous

You've done the trick lots of ways🤗😚❤, but I guess I'd have to say: Some sleepy voiced talking leading into calm, even breathing with a little light rain in the background *chef's kiss*😴❤

Anonymous

I love all your sleep aid audios. Soft rain, gentle breathing and the heartbeat sounds. Obviously in a separate audios, not all together 🙃 😂 💜

Anonymous

Calm flowing/rushing water sounds and soft raindrops on a window pane.

Anonymous

The sound of breathing and soft kisses always helps me fall asleep, as well as the noise of a fan. Also heartbeat sounds are really nice! Oh and also the sound of gently rubbing/scratching on your back is a big one for me 🤍

Anonymous

Gael!! All those things make me sleepy except sometimes music actually makes me more alert.... Would you ever consider doing a "nap" audio? It would be comforting to listen to your voice for a few mins, then have 30 minutes of soothing sounds before your voice comes back on again to gently wake the listener up. ☺️💤

Anonymous

Horror stories and rainstorms!!

Anonymous

And oh, I nearly forgot, heartbeats!! 💓 But recently your Rain in Spain audio is on heavy rotation cos it drowns out the construction sounds from the neighboring condo!!

Anonymous

I love soft and gentle talking. Reassuring and comforting me by telling me how safe i am in your arms and that I have nothing to worry as you are watching over me. That really puts me at ease. I like feeling protected especially right before I fall asleep. Soft rain drops in the background relax me a lot. I would just like a sweet cuddle and very soft kisses on the cheek, nose and forehead 😍😍😍 Oh, and i love when you sing or hum us to sleep. ❤❤

Anonymous

Oh man I have an entire playlist on YT with sleep sounds. Lots of rain and thunder, sometimes with low music in the background. I have some space station white noise ones, some arctic wind, deep ocean sounds (like under water), whale calls. And one with café sounds, some light music, rain and low talking in the background. I loooooove listening to doom jazz! Like Bohren and der Club of Gore, Musica Cthulhiana and the like. Makes me feel like I'm among some kind of alien underworld and the creatures are protecting me Also calm jazz, with or without singing. Diana Krall, Chet Baker, Etta James, Miles Davis

Anonymous

Campfire with crickets, rain. Soft whispers and hmms. Head/face/neck massages (your migraine audios)

Anonymous

May I add that I also love it when you are humming songs 💕💕

michelle nieto

whispered reassurance and a lil rambling always helps but I also love waves, rain, and fireside background layers. And if you could do one w all three, a heartbeat ,and your sweet whispering I'd stand no chance. Also love the visuals like floating fireflies off some of your older videos after a particularly difficult day every little bit helps. Just rambling now...anything you do always comes out great and I've complete faith in you.🙃

Anonymous

Listen to reading something... Would be fantastic having you read "go the fuck to sleep" for us. Beside this, just calming breathing sounds (don't snore or I will kick Bruce Lee like...), rain, wind and yes, I like the sound of thunder too

Quiet Loyalty

Even breathing, heart beat, fabric being gently stroked as if back rubbing or snuggle adjustments, gentle hmms, light rain. Weird random whisper of its ok/im right here.

Anonymous

I love those audios where it's you talking in very soft whispers, ear attention always melts me and hearing you breathing soothes and relaxes me big time. I'm a big fan of your husky sleepy voice 😍

Anonymous

This won't add much, but soft talking that subsides into breathing with the occasional murmur or kiss is my favorite. Even better with the sea, rain, thunderstorm, something natural behind it. Love the one with the windchimes. Focus on you actually being there.

Hope

Rambling nonsense whispers, rain on a variety of surfaces (in a forest, on a tin roof etc), waves, heartbeats, gentle wind through leaves/tall grass - these are a few of my favorite sleep sounds

Anonymous

Quiet talking (not that we ever have to worry about you shouting 😆) — and listening to conversations between other people — has always knocked me right out, ever since I was little. Rain and distant thunder, with the rainfall changing from light to heavy to light again. Uhm... true crime podcasts by women? 🤣 IDK, it’s empowering I think. Sorry, I know that doesn’t help you 💕 This is a particular specific quirk of mine that you won’t be able to do but I’ll share it anyway: baseball game on the TV. I mean, I’m aware you won’t be able to do that because no ⚾️ happening right now, plus you’d have to get permission from the MLB overlords, lol. I love the game but I recognize also nap inducing 🤣

Anonymous

Ocean and nature sounds with an underlying heartbeat are my favorite. But its nice to start with a sweet goodnight scene

Anonymous

Gentle talking, couple of kisses here and there, hearing you breathing, some heartbeats are nice, a bit of movement rustling in bed of clothes/sheets, treated as if I'm being cuddled to sleep.

Anonymous

When I first discovered your YouTube channel, Gael, it was during a stretch of insomnia. I relied on a number of your recordings for quite a while to help me fall asleep. Your Tír na nÓg recording was at the top of that list.

The_Taco_Show

I love the ones that make me tingle all over. Heavy, moaning, close to the ear breathing is my shit right there!!! I have tactile synesthesia so I can feel what I hear. Thus, I REALLY get to enjoy your audio 😉🤪. More like, driven crazy by them but enjoy none the less.

Anonymous

It’s either your audios or Jack Johnson’s In Between Dreams album. The sound of rain in your audios put me out pretty quickly though.

Medina

Deep breathing, but not breathing too close to the mic, rather “soft“ breathing you know what i mean? Oh, and rain sounds. I looove the sound of rain, it`s so soothing

Anonymous

Personally, I prefer just hearing you over hearing any music and/or nature sounds. Very soft night time sounds can be nice, but otherwise just hearing your breathing and kisses soothes me right to sleep 🥰 someone else said too that they like the sound of rustling sheets/clothes every now and then, I am definitely in the same boat!

Anonymous

I love quiet conversation before sleeping, when you can snuggle and have a little laugh and then you know you'll have the best and most peaceful sleep.😌

Anonymous

Rain works. I also like outdoor sounds like my backyard birds chirping away as a slight breeze blows through my willow trees. Warm sun and cooler breezes. Now if there's talking, it would have to be directed at relaxing the muscles from my feet to my head. Slow breathing. I like to pretend my body melts like Caramel through a grate. As I relax, I ooze, melting my body as I fall asleep. Neat.

Anonymous

Light rain sounds. Occasional kisses. Soft breathing. The simple audios with these lull me to sleep.

Anna_808

Tibetan singing bowls, rustling bed sheets, keyboard typing. Not necessarily all at once 😛

Anonymous

There are times where I look for videos of you just talking. It helps me fall asleep sometimes. Rain is also something that'll help me. Soft and pretty breathing~ A bit of movement. And just the feeling of being a little spoon😊

Anonymous

I like gentle talking, couple of kisses, breathing sounds, cuddles and rain

Anonymous

Subtle nature sounds really. Like quiet, soft rain. Many rain audios I find too harsh/loud unfortunately but I think you've done a very good job with your ambient audios so far... Like the gentle birdsong in the background etc has been absolutely perfect. So just keep doing whatever you do I guess? But maybe a longer looped version? 😊 I'll add more suggestions as I come up with them. I've done a deepdive into the world of sleep audios recently to find out what works best for me so I'm sure I'll have it figured out more specifically soon. 😉 Ps. Once again, so happy you decided to do this! I'm a huge fan of your sleep audio stuff. 🧡

Anonymous

Rain. Especially when it's coming down hard. Waves. Gentle breathing. Soft and deep voice. Soft purring (cat's purring of course). Crickets on a hot summer night. Train. When I was younger, I could always hear the train passing somewhere, far off and for some reason, I would fall asleep not only knowing that it was late and I should be asleep, but fall asleep thinking about, dreaming about where the train was going. When I lived in the city, I had to drown out the noise to fall asleep. Clint Mansell's soundtrack to film The Fountain and if I listened to music with lyrics, it would have to be one I knew well, so my brain could turn off and I could drift... a Canadian musician Peter Katz and Scottish musician Rachel Sermanni.

Anonymous

Nature sounds like the rain or beach, also like fireplace sounds. Your breathing and snuffles like sleepy couch cuddles( I listen to that one a lot) heartbeat sounds, lullaby like atomic heart hugs. Soft whispers and kisses

Anonymous

I second the atomic heart hugs audio as perfection. Rain sounds, quiet talking, singing of soothing lullabye (my fave!), heartbeat, rustling of sheets. When it comes on all the tension just drains out of my body. So audios like those are def my thing.

Anonymous

I personally love the thunder and rain nature sounds .. or even the picnic sounds with the birds and wind and such when napping in the sun.. but I also enjoy the talking and cuddling.. it helps take my mind off whatever is popping up and I can focus on your words rather than my mind...

Anonymous

Id like to add that the very most helpful thing to hear is positive affirmations, giving permissions to let go and feel peace is the best. Its hard to crack that racing mind syndrome but your audios do the trick for sure.

Anonymous

Head pats 👩🏻👋, Breathing sounds 😴and ocean waves 🌊🌊 😋

Anonymous

Now I sleep alone, hugging a pillow assuming its my honey-bunny....For the next part it's my fantasies about how I would love it when my my man finally comes, I would like him come and with gentle nuzzle/kiss me around my face and neck, and there I go like a hypnosis session....Its bcoz I suppose the space between the eyebrows, areas around the neck is super sensitive for me and its all trance inducing and I can only imagine that...If I am all hyper and my body is not yet ready to sleep, I would love for him to tell me stories, and jokes (just like you do) but I don't like to talk...I looooooove to listen.......and in the process hearing him, occasional nibbles and moans in my ears......and eventually slowly I go into that mode to get ready to doze off on his moderately- hairy chest running my fingers all along sometimes running up to his beards and ears with my thumb, all nestled up in his protective arms...and when the position is set, his breath hitting my third eye.....

Kelly

I love listening to piano music (an example would be Yiruma) or I like listening to whispering especially layered whispering.

ThroughHelenBack

I really like either rain sounds or like a burning log fire. I also like talking in them personally but just kinda quiet conversations...either nonsense conversation (that doesn't require too much thought... otherwise I won't sleep) or comforting conversations are the best for me..i.e. making the listener feel safe, or shushing and comforting them from a nightmare, or just plain telling them how you feel about them are the best

Mina Ramey (Ebony Sorceress of the North)

Soft spoken conversation/bedtime stories and soft breathing with the sounds of thunder and rain in the background. Give me that and I'm out like a light in 10 minutes tops. 😁

Anonymous

Mmmmm....I find that I can fall asleep to your soft voice/whispers very easily. I like the idea of cuddling while listening to you banter and nodding off. You just breathing and making bed noises is also quite comforting. Though I'm not opposed to nature sounds, I personally don't require anything other than you and the natural sounds of the sheets/bed to feel relaxed.

Stephanie Moran

Whispers Heartbeat sounds Bedtime stories Flipping pages, like reading from a book Gentle kisses Quiet rain/log fire Cuddling

Anonymous

- Rain sounds - Sleep sounds, like soft breathing, occasional sheet rustling,... - in the Sleep With Me audio, there are occasional "rubbing" sounds. I don't know what you did, maybe run your hands over the bed sheets? Anyway, I love that sound! It's like you rub the muse's back and it's so soothing! - hair brushing sounds or the sounds you used in the headache comfort audios - heart beat - gentle talking or singing

GinaG

Hi G. I love love love ocean sounds and rain/ storms. My favorite of the sleep audios is Rest Your Head (I have it in my sleep list twice since it is kind of short) & west Irish water and winds. I actually listen to Silk Tie & Leather belt because your voice is so low and teasing... The folley is subtly sexy. It prompts toward sexy dreams For me, personally, wet kissy noises triggers low grade misphonia and laughter tends to be too high enerdree for sleep, soft chuckle is nice. I'd rather not have anxieties or worries called out- already trying not to think of those. Some Gaelic endearments, gentle admonishments to rest, soothing nonsense, little bit if soft lullaby...

Anonymous

Thanks for asking what we really like to sleep Gael 🤗 Personally, I really like the sounds of nature like the sound of waves, rain with thunderstorm ect. I also like why not scalp massages with soft lullabies or whispered stories 😌

Aeros

Thunderstorms that are actually heavy on the thunder always help me. So does sleep sounds like sheets gently rustling, partners breathing/snuffle noises. All the snuffles and nuzzles, light whispers and conversations. Especially lower voice timbers like we’re both falling asleep but still trying to talk and enjoy each other’s company. 💕

Anonymous

Urgh, it seems P decided to eat my comment 🙈🙈🙈 Okay, here we go..again... I'm a little late for this thread, but I'll list below some of my go to sounds for sleep. 🙂 -ocean sounds -lake sounds ( I live in a country of lakes, they have a magical own sound ♥) - Some talking, sweet&soothing whispers, same goes for music ♥ -rain -fire place -heartbeat -breathing sounds -moving sounds, like caressing skin or hair, shuffling the blankets/pillows.. Does this make any sence? 😅 And G...Don't forget to use a couple of jokes occationally 😘😘 Laughter is one of the relaxing things in our world 😄♥🍀

Anonymous

When P eats your comments, go to your profile and choose the comments tab. Find your comment, copy, come back to the home page and paste. It worked for me. Good Luck🍀

I don’t generally have trouble falling asleep but I 100% need voices talking about something vaguely interesting to do it. Rain/flickering fire/the ocean are great background sounds when I’m working because they let me focus my thoughts without worrying too much about actual sounds around me, but that all just makes it easier for the bad/stressful/worrying thoughts to play out when I’m trying to get to sleep. Scary stories (or horror movies) are a favorite of mine just cause that’s something I enjoy in general and it has to be something interesting enough to actually distract me, or it doesn’t work it. (I really like the Bedtime Stories audiobook 😅)

Anonymous

Same as I said on YouTube 😆 There's so many that you've done already that are absolutely soothing to me. I like soft nature sounds the best. The sound of rain against the windowpane, of crickets chirping, or even the crackling of a nice warm fire. Then, of course, the more intimate sounds. The sound of you breathing, your soft sweet whispers in the ear as we snuggle close. Growing up in the country, one of my favorite things to fall asleep to at night was the sound of the coyotes. Whenever they were around I would always leave my window open so I could listen to their happy yipping and howling. Don't hear much of them anymore, sadly. Thank you for all your wonderful work, Gael. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon your channel and I can't wait to hear what you have it store for us. I hope you're doing well in these times. Much love from me... 🥰🥰😚

kira

for sure talking helps, i fall asleep to commentary youtubers literally every day

Anonymous

Being in each other arms, soft, long kisses on each other lips and faces and on the neck, softly spoken words about the deep love for each other; all this together with hearing rain knocking on the windows and crackling fire sounds is a perfect scene to get me asleep ❤ Oh, I also loved when you sang that sweet, Irish lullaby. So hearing Gaelic, too, makes me peaceful and calmer, somehow, because I find it a very melodic language.

Gretchen

Rain, thunderstorms, the sound of a crackling fire, (probably a weird one) the sounds of people in another part of the house quietly talking indistinctly, waves, wind in treetops.

Anonymous

a little talking/whispering at the beginning is lovely, and then breathing sounds are what really help me fall asleep 💤💞 (Drift Away is an all-time fave)

Anonymous

Forgot to add rain sounds, lulling/singing, gentle kisses 😘

Brigid's Ember (Siren Historian & Mayoral Furniture Tester)

-- Soft speaking (but weirdly not whispering, mostly) -- Fabric sounds, esp. rustling sheets/blankets -- Paper sounds (like pages turning) -- Thunderstorm sounds -- Wind, waves, river/stream, birdsong & other ambient nature sounds -- Crackling fire sounds (Hi, my name is Cliché. Nice to meet you! 😂)

Anonymous

I like when it starts out with some talking where you're cozying up to the muse, it's nice to imagine falling asleep while all snuggled up. I love the ones that start with bedtime stories, listening to you is so soothing. I especially like when your voice is calm, like when you're reciting poetry or singing. And what really does it for me is breathing and any kind of nature/ambient sounds.

Anonymous

I love rain/thunderstorm sounds, fabric sounds and either REALLY close up whispers or REALLY close up breathing! Hair play is also very nice 😴

Anonymous

Listening to you sing and hum Irish lullabies is the most relaxing thing ever to me. I fall asleep in matter of seconds 😍

Scarlet Kitten

Is that you Gael who's in the image?

Anonymous

Lots of loving romantic whispers, breathing, heartbeats, backrubs just anything to make it super cosy and cuddly :)

Anonymous

Someone softly caressing your arms, back, etc. and not saying a word as you drift off to sleep. Hearing the crickets and tree frogs gently croaking through the open windows on a summer night. Listening to the gentle lapping of soft (not crashing) waves in a body of water be it lake or ocean. A soft thunderstorm that is slightly in the distance. Rain on anything but a tin or metal roof. The creaking of a boat as it lulls lazily in the water. A gentle breeze as it rustles the leaves in a tree, not heavy gales. A heartbeat heard through my ear as it's pressed against a lover's chest. Resting my head on a lover's chest and him softly stroking my back and hair. Soft massage. The crackling of a fire be it outdoors or indoors.

Anonymous

Rain, Thunderstorms, ocean waves, whispering and humming\lullabies. I'm a sucker for the kind of soft voice that can just talk and lull me to sleep. I've also grown to like sleepy breathing/vocals, the fabric sounds and the sounds of skin being caressed. I find it to be very soothing, calming and reassuring. And of course, hair brushing.

Anonymous

Night sounds, winds, waves, folk music, story telling, fire sounds,

Anonymous

Not weird at all, was thinking the same thing about indistinct conversations, either in another room or outside but conversational not loud

Anonymous

Hi Gael, thank you so much for working on this. Some suggestions for you are: quiet calm jazz music, whispers/quiet loving talk, sleepy breathing, soft rain, soothing talk, and gentle kisses

Anonymous

Rain, your breathing, silence, your soft understanding words, heartbeat, RAIN and BREATHING! Thanks "G" Congratulations on 94K. You are the most talented Artist on Patron!

Anonymous

I have wanted a soft whispers sleeping audio from you in the worst way. You’ve had audios where you’ve whispered softly for a couple of minutes and it’s SO soothing but I can’t fall asleep in that short of time. It would be so amazing to have you whisper for like 20 minutes or longer. I have yet to find a voice that can calm and soothe me quite like yours can.

Anonymous

I have a suggestion if you allow me.. How about if you record things you normally do everyday? I mean like natural sounds in the background like birds chirping/rain/ocean and then, sound of your foot steps walking by, sound of you sitting on a couch or chair, open a book, flip pages as you read. Writing, playing with a pen or tapping with a pen. Sound of you breathing, scratching your head or rubbing your beard/stubble.. Sound of you drinking water, humming while doing something. Sound of you adding water in the kettle, turn it on, prepare your tea/coffee. Water heated, pour water in your cup.. return back to your reading or working on your laptop.. Sound of your phone ringing from a different room, you get up, answer the call and we hear you speaking but sound is faded as you are speaking from a different room.. I think I'm suggesting this cuz I like to hear sounds around me while working for instance and I'm pretty sure lovelies can relate to this.. I also think it will be good for those who study.. Like I work in a separate room and I listen to your sleeping audios (for the natural sounds, your breathing, moving...etc) while working which sometimes draws me to feel sleepy so why not create audios for "during the day"? I hope I was able to deliver my idea. This content will be very good for YT as well as Patreon. If you like the idea/suggestion, I'd say try a 20 or 30 mins length audio as a try and if it's a success and more ppl like it, then you can record longer ones..

Anonymous

Very soft and lite sounds.... whispers, soft humming, ethereal music- mid to lower note range, lite breeze, ocean sounds, slow babbling creek, hair brushing, rain,. These also trigger my ASMR.

Anonymous

Rain, white noise and the whispering and the sound of your breathing. 🤤😴😴😴💗

Anonymous

Ohhhh first off thank you for all your longer sleep audios I would have so many sleepless nights. I really like your one with me sugar audio where you talk for a little bit in the beginning and then drift off to sleep sounds with the hypnotic and wind/ rain sounds. And then for the rest of the time there’s quiet sounds. But the hypnotic asmr sounds I really like. Also the story telling ones that drift off to cuddle sleepy sounds. I like storms but only if they are quite not too loud (there’s one Audio of yours I like but towards the end there’s a loud clap of thunder that has scared the crap out of me. Lol)

Laciest

You have been helping me to sleep for weeks now & it’s all in your voice. Bedtime stories: Let’s Lay in the Peace & Quiet is a perfect example...Your approach to your audios is so organic/authentically sweet, kind and compassionate and it’s why I cannot get enough! You’re the only genuine respite for me from this insane world and I’m so grateful you’ve chosen to hold that space. There’s no one youer than you and I’m a sucker for your authenticity and creativity. It’s why I’ve continued to follow you for so long (back when I discovered you on literotica!) Just keep talking and I’ll keep listening. Thank you, G. Truly. 💜

Anonymous

Also white noise rain. Your humming or like sleepy voice talking/ soothing sounds. Maybe a fan in the background. Snuggle bed sounds.

Anonymous

Generally I like your low sleepy voice and the sound of my fan. I have a hard time getting to sleep usually but you always make it easier :)

Anonymous

Thank you for asking and thank you for this content. I enjoy nature sounds such as rain and storms and also ocean waves. I particularly relax when you are doing silly rambles while in bed and when you hum a little tune. Those always make me feel comforted and help me relax more deeply so that I can fall asleep. I also like the audios you've made where you fall asleep and we can hear you breathing deeply. Trying to match my breaths with yours is a good relaxation exercise as well. Maybe you could make those into prompts an audio. Like guided meditation. I look forward to all awesome things you come up with 😊

Whispers or really soft spoken words and someone playing with my hair; those are the big ones for me. In ASMR and real life haha. Sleepy sounds are lovely too. The hair playing is tricky; it’s gotta be at the right volume. If it’s too quiet it’s not very effective for relaxing or sleeping, so I’ve found. I also very much appreciate rain, storm, ocean, and river sounds; those are the big ones for me as far as nature-y sounds go. You’re on my list of big ones too, but not necessarily for sleeping ;P

‪How about rain falling on Seanie’s attic skylight, thunderstorm and Seanie’s heavy breathing, drooling and snoring sounds?!hmm?huh? Ooof those sounds will definitely help us fall asleep.....😍😂

Some feet/ankle massage, wrist-caressing, ear nibbles, and scalp rubbing are quick sleep inducers for me...Me getting to move my fingers while my hands rest also help me go into the sleep mode...

whispers [honey, baby, my love] 👉🏻👈🏻 hugs!!! and also those hmms u do is just adorable

Anonymous

I liked the way you started out with some relaxation/breathing in your last audio because it helps me to settle in. One idea I have is to do visualizations in different peaceful environments that include details like temperature, scenery, soft breezes through leaves and trees, animals, smell, touch/texture) - start with narration. I like the ocean and mountains. Soft piano also helps - I used to fall asleep to this and the rest of the album https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OXvFDLqfRvA If you ramble nonsense or read James Joyce in a monotone, that might be good too.

Anonymous

Guided meditations, relaxing different parts of the body, kind of like a body scan, letting go of the days stress or negative energy, prefer no music or very soft and quiet, when you get silly and make me laugh it makes me more alert, kissing, cuddling

Anonymous

gael is that you in the picture? 👀🤚🏻💞

Some sort of background noises crickets in the summer, various weather, trains in the distance (side effect of growing up in the Midwest/IL), or music with a slow tempo- something befitting the mood. Add in a periodic dose of Gael making sleepy noises, and after awhile my brain will eventually shut off. I have some of your work via iTunes so that I can put you on shuffle. This way you will always be pleasantly unpredictable ;)

I sleep to ur audios 5 times a mix of your soft breathing from ‘midnight snuffles’,the soft chimes from ‘one with me’, and the crickets from your newest audio, would put me in hibernation 🤣 Also, if there could be like 5/10 mins of just wholesome news stories or a little pep talk, I think that would help all of us during these crazy times. Will you be selling these sleep audios on iTunes??

Seconded, though I love the sounds used in the massaging videos, like the soft, gentle shoulder rubbing and hair playing. I also love the little loving kisses in some of your videos when you're doing soothing audios, because they just sound so... doting, if that makes sense, like there's a sense of protectiveness about them.

I like the soft sleep sounds sometimes. I don't like fast tapping or fast noises they wake me up and make me anxious. But sometimes, i'm exhausted my brain aches, and soft sounds of sleeping relaxes me.

I find evening rain and thunderstorms very relaxing. 😁 Falling asleep to someone reading is also very comforting.

Oh, a couple loopy wholesome news would be a great way to end the day! Especially now when all my social media is bad news.

Skin stroking on skin 😊 in addition to the things already mentioned.

I’m super late to this conversation but after genuine contemplation I think I’ve got it... Tell us a story in Gaelic ! I love listing to a soothing voice at low volume to fall asleep. Bob Ross’s Joy of Painting for example, Amazing 🥱😴 Only, after one night I’m like “and now he’s gunna paint a happy little tree...” annoyed by knowing what he’s going to say and I have to find a new something. If you did a 20 min story in a beautiful language I don’t understand, it would just be your soothing voice lulling me to sleep. One could loop it 2 or 3 times and as far as my brain would know, I’d have a 60 min story!! OH it would be heavenly! 🙏💕🥰

To be honest, I have yet to sleep and be properly rested when I sleep alone... actually someone wrapped around me is the best way to sleep

🤔 -Your sleepy voice, like in Bedtime Stories -Water sounds, like rain or the ocean -Soft and constant scratching sounds -Skin contact, like massaging bare skin

Some of what helps me sleep is the sound of rain, thunderstorms, lake & ocean waves, waterfalls, gentle breeze, even small water trickles and the sounds of a bamboo deer scare. Other senses that help me relax are the natural earthy smells. Spring flowers, rain kissed grass, lilacs, and the autumn maple leaves. The only thing that would be missing is physically being held in a man’s strong embrace, hugged and gently caressed.

I have voiced men into a sleep on the mic many times, and just listening to them relaxed and snoring made me giggle, but it made me sleep good too just hearing them so relaxed. So I guess for me, breathing, your Gaelic words of love, light kissing and gentle thunder and light rains are always nice.

Ok well I don’t need to say “rain” lol and not just for the obvious *points to my name - more than one reason I have that* thanks lovlies for all having great minds 😘 I’ve really enjoyed the input of the community. I haven’t “fell asleep” as to opposed to passing out, in such a long time I am still unsure how I used to do it. Staying up all night and passing out during the day seemed to be my trick. I’m slowly relearning but holly bollocks - Ruminating sucks. I use anything between action movies to comedy sitcoms. I focus on the conversations of the utter boring to the over watched to distract my ears as it’s like screaming. Lately though, after I discovered your audios - the debt I can never repay happened - it’s not that I needed more but my brain doesn’t shut up. So little by little I added backing tracks of binaural beats, frequency tones (1111hz 6-8hrtz) with rain or oceans, these tracks would also come with their own music which would have to be carefully aligned with the audio play list, did I want literary fantasy, pure distraction domination, sensual and or sentimental or silences with minimal talking. During this I found I could mix the same tones with Heilung, Can you Hold Me by NF, Peter Gundry, and The Sidh. Heilung mixes in the easiest and most natural with most tones. They are able to induce a trance like state in their live audiences so I do use it to achieve a similar effect. I’ve used the same technique to achieve just enough light with minimal dips into deep sleep for a few hours when keeping awake for long periods of time, please don’t try these things and operate machinery. Lately I’ve been purposely gearing my brain towards astral plains/“beyond the veil”/deep meditation and I often take a break for just some planted lucid dreaming, mixing certain audios with certain lucid dream tracks, doesn’t hit target but in the hypnagogic anything is possible. Sometimes dipping into guided meditations, past lives, higher purpose, Astaskhi Records, spirt guides. Often going back to a white dragon (528, 963,4096Hz) protection track and a hug and some rain. Well I think everyone gets why I don’t post the in-depth of what mix I use and each one is different depending on intent, this is also why I took so long and considered not posting at all because these are things I would not ask you for. If you have the capability of the deeper mediations, similar to into the mystic but being able to cross the barrier to walk the plains, I would pay for that as it wouldn’t be suitable for everyone. Aside from that mess that’s my brain, the ladies have provided ideas what make great and stable tracks within those mixes and works as the ending to ease my brain back into this simulation/reality and then into the morning, unfortunately I still wake up with a migraine and in a great deal of pain but that’s how I ended up with a debt, anyone who relates to pain can understand the almost desperate need to find peace, I’m doing my best not to go down that road again, the doctors do what they can but I just get told to “reduce stress” riiiggggjhhttt... As I said on another post, the little things, the things I dreamed of knowing but never had and know I never will, being held, a kiss, that look in another’s eyes that say everything without saying nothing (thinking that in only in the movies and books) a hold, a touch that translates a 1000 words (see why I love art, and gifs they are freaking perfect little captions of a feeling or a movement that again I’ve never known that loops - handy), the never been kissed Audio is often high on the intro playlists, as is silk tie leather belt, and amsr man undressing and a couple from the horror section. So the more simple ones before I went all “BREAK THE MATRIX” were the boyfriend roleplay ones, seriously one was watching a movie, amsr stories/audiobooks/poems work, someone playing video games (no joke it’s the controller clicking), I’ve done it to myself lol. Sooo *one very long comment later - that I edited a lot* I can work with near about anything you make, im able to play while I’m in a hypnagogic state to things that allow me to mix and set intention or just a simple and relaxing “I’m lacking real so imagination and fantasy has to fill the void.” But everything everyone has mentioned and the 3 hour one has been perfect there is no reason for me to repeat so Plus+ 1 on ALL Lovlie suggestions across all posts on all platforms. PSA: Those tones and or binaural beats I spoke about can cause headaches, I know there is a lovely here who gets them from certain audios, these tracks and or meditations can be unsettling or transcending or just plain old simple nightmares. If you choose to try them please read their warnings/disclaimers first.

I have been so hesitant to mention them, because I suffer migraines and did have a few very failed attempts and the deeper and deeper I go the more addicted I become. I think I managed to pierce someone’s dreams or thoughts with a future event between the two of us, but when I tried it with someone who would have made more shielding I was turned away. I didn’t do it out of malice, one man I felt trusted beyond all others and the thought crossed my mind a few time and it did during this set up and there we were watching ourselves in a potential reality. So it’s why I also get hesitant to mention it sometimes you don’t mean to end up in another’s mind. I’m going try to and make my own, (personal use whenever copyrighted material is used) otherwise I’d grab some people have to test it and share it. I’d try the deeper meditations but have no one to teach me and I won’t lead people down the wrong path, I am a solitary void walker I don’t have a group or coven I learn the hard way, research and research and create what I need to for me. Long comment sorry... been loosing myself out of survival, I try to keep in grounded with lower base instincts even though I know the power behind sex Magic (never practiced it) but more simple. I just lack the resources or support to do it all on my own, I’ve done that and one gets burned out when your fan club is your demand club.

Something like your face , your cheek pressed lightly to my cheek, sounds of your breathing. Your sleepy but very sexy voice from the hottest audio this year " too hot to sleep"😍. And yes of course, hugs, snuggles, spooning. 😊🥰

JoAnna

Soft, just audible whispers of affirmations, rain and distant thunderstorms, cuddles, listening to you breathing and your heartbeat...
