Hi, everyone!

The work on the first chapter of Tame It Too! is in full swing! We're making significant progress every day, but there's still a lot to do!  

New Characters

As we mentioned, we're working on new major characters, but besides them, Lee will meet some locals in the new chapter, which means we'll need some secondary character models as well. We've already designed their appearance, and will move on to 3D models as soon as we're done with the main characters!

Locations

Work on the new locations continues. We've made good progress on the design of the shore where Lee docks and the surrounding areas. You'll be able to hunt new animals there and we need to create them too and script their behavior. For now we're planting trees, bushes and flowers, drawing pathways and doing other painstaking but very interesting tasks!

Cutscenes

We've moved on to designing the storyboard for future cutscenes and will continue to do it this week. Once the storyboard is finished, we can start the next stage of visualizing the cutscenes - working with 3D models. The scenes are fun and colorful, and we hope you'll enjoy them as much as the prologue cutscenes.

Mechanic Improvements

In addition to working on the new chapter, we've also been working on several important gameplay improvements.

In order to prevent the camera from flying through walls and floors, we decided to change the entire in-game camera system, which means that we had to rip the mechanic apart and build it all over again. Many visual aspects look much better now, though! 

We also reworked the player character control system, but that brought a whole new set of bugs that we are now actively fighting! 

We've added the sprint system you've been asking for, and smooth camera switching at points of interest!
