Hi everyone!
Last week we released a big interim update to Tame It Too! which added a lot of useful features and fixed a lot of bugs. Have you had a chance to play the new version yet? We'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
And we're continuing to work hard on the new chapter!
Supporting Characters
Lee will meet several supporting characters in the first chapter, who are local residents. All of them have their own distinctive features, their role in the tribe and further plot of the game.
We've been busy creating 3D models, textures, clothing, weapons and accessories for them. This week we'll continue to work on them and when they are finished, we’ll see how they perform in the game.
New scene with Tonya
We have updated Tonya's 3D model for the current engine and started to create a hot new scene with her! We're currently working on the animation for this scene and then we'll test it in-game. We know that many of you have missed Tonya, including Lee of course, so we've decided that a scene with her should definitely be in the next chapter and we hope you enjoy it!
Chest and Map Mechanics
Chests will appear in the game, and that means a lot of interesting things at once! Chests can contain treasures, useful loot, and of course you can use them to store your items and resources. We also have a special chest that we have been planning for some time, where girls will be able to bring what they managed to get through personal tasks, which can be given to them. The chest mechanics are almost ready and will be added to the game pretty soon. You'll be able to interact with the first chest in the next chapter.
We're also working on map mechanics, which many people are really looking forward to. The locations in the game are large and there will be even more space to explore, so we understand the need for a map in the game. We'll strive to bring the map into the game in the new chapter of Tame It Too!. In addition to the terrain, we plan to show the location of the main girl characters, points of interest and quests, and perhaps even treasure locations in the future!
We've also continued to refine locations, made food 3D props, and have been working on the Patron Mode menu design, which we'll tell you more about when we're ready to implement it into the game.
