september diary 🪑cute finds & rearranging my workspace 🌿 (Patreon)

Hi friends!

September was a crazy month >:0 Our family has been taking more time to drive out to my grandma’s home to care and spend time with her. Thankfully all this driving practice has made me a little more confident on the road (“: yay for progress! But because things have gotten a little busy, I didn’t get to do too much this month because of how busy it’s been. I did have some hobby time and I would love to share what I’ve made✨

Mum and I learned how to sew something new! We made tissue pockets (o: thinking of having some in the next update!

And I recently learned how to make a drawstring tote! They take a while but the end result is worth it, such a cute bag shape 🤧

Also wanted to share with you all some cute finds of the month from my errands to the market! 🛒 I found a lot of inspiration from them~

Pumpkin branches from Trader Joes (? not too sure what they’re really called haha)

I ended up buying the retro mikan candy box 😆😭 it was too cute to pass!! It reminds me of the fruit boxes in animal crossing! Inside there are hard candies shaped like clementine slices 🍊

⟡ desk things ⟡

Since I have been feeling funky creative wise, I decided to make some changes to my workspace! Currently, I am working on a desk my dad made out of an old door (there is a metal door knob on the bottom side of the desk 😆). What is nice about this desk is it has a large surface to display my favorite stationery items and keep packaging tools at an arms-length! This month, I took a mini challenge to change my workspace and cycle in new things to look at like my art books and stamp collection. Surrounding myself with inspiring items is helpful when I lack motivation to draw or make new stationery items.

So far it is going well! I am not finished rearranging just yet, but I’ll show some pics below~

Ending this monthly update with the washi tape I used to seal the teacup tier mail 💛 (I will share the other tapes I used to seal the envelopes with October’s diary post, because I haven’t sent the rest of September mail yet!)
