I remember watching this one for the first time during a flight and I didn't remember much but there were some scenes that left me wanting to not revisit this one again. But this reaction led me to go back and it was a better watch this time. I won't watch it again maybe because it's heavy but this movie had the right message. I liked how Kareena's character had the voiceover that 'drugs start off as pleasure and to look cool' but people underestimate how quick people can get hooked to it. And the consequences are extremely bad. So, better take precautions than regret it.

The cast was stellar. I think every actor was casted for the perfect character. This was also Shahid-Kareena's first movie together after their break-up and them having moved on respectfully in their personal lives. Sadly, we didn't get any scenes between them but regardless, it was a well made film with this cast. Shahid Kapoor really ends up shining when he plays these crazy off-beat characters. Alia's character especially made me feel horrible for her situation because she was forced into it. Thankfully, in the end she didn't commit suicide which I don't know why I was expecting. The goa trip was something she truly deserved. Tommy was serving his time in jail for his poor choices. Kareena trying to do the right thing and help out ended up losing her life which was sad but again, a hard hitting truth that drugs end up messing people bad! Diljit was great and I adore how both Diljit-Kareena admire each other.
