Hi Evie, unfortunately, most episodes will end in the middle of a mission or with a cliffhanger. Unlike other shows, they don’t wrap up the story in 40 minutes, Sydney’s missions just continue. I love your predictions about her mother and over the season, she will figure out some things, so keep those predictions coming. You kept mentioning “that guy” so let me give you their names. Bradley Cooper is Will and yes, Will’s investigating can be dangerous. Her boss at SD6 who had Danny killed is Sloane. Her partner is named Dixon and the agent who got a promotion is Michael Vaughan. He does have a girlfriend, but appears to be developing feelings for Sydney also.

The actress who plays Anna is Gina Torres, who you may recognize from Angel the TV show. I know that you are a huge Buffy fan, but I’m unsure whether or not you’ve watched Angel.
