This episode is INCREDIBLE. One of my faves of the series. Dean is equal parts stunningly hot, terrifyingly scary, and undeniably badass!! I know it wasn't good for him to wipe out the Styne clan because he's feeding the mark and letting it take over, but I am also happy he put an end to those "human" monsters and that he avenged Charlie. When you were like, "Oh dude, you're dead." I laughed. Cause...yeah definitely. 😁 But it was heartbreaking that he killed the kid too. It is, of course, deliberately reminiscent of Cain wanting to kill that boy because he "prefers to be thorough". The speech Dean makes about there being bad in him, also echoes Cain's assertion that his descendants couldn't avoid the bad in their blood. It's also clearly Dean believing that it's in his "blood" to be bad. "Now you can deny it and you can run from it all you want, but that bad? Will always win." It breaks my heart to think he sees no way out. The fight with Cas! 😩 Ugh! Yes, it's definitely a callback to 8x17 when Cas is beating the crap out of Dean. I wonder if a memory of that very moment was one of the things that stopped Dean from using the Angel blade on him. Either way, it's very painful to watch. This was an amazing reaction and I can't WAIT for the season finale. 😍😍

Biggest bad guy change since aniken turned into Darth Vader. I felt like dark dean went away to fast . But this dean is scary . Crazy good episode.
