Nice reaction! So Amenadiel sees a need for change in the system, sort of paralleling the change in the celestial system Lucifer wants to champion.🤕

I loved this episode. I loved seeing Luci trying so hard- too hard to try and make up to his daughter for not being in her life but, you were right, I think, she didn't want material things but really wanted a connection that she felt she never had with her father. I agree the song at the end with Rory and Luci was perfect , not only in its execution but also that it was through music that Luci and she were finally able to begin to make that connection. The racist storyline, I thought was well handled and having a call back to a previous episode with Caleb was a good touch. I am glad that they visited this topic and were not afraid to do so. I think it would have been less believable if Amenadiel, a black cop, trying to do a good job didn't encounter it. All the police procedurals in the series so far have been very formulaic ( not a criticism as it is what it is) so a little more of a gritty modern story, I felt was a good move. I wonder now if Amenadiel will want to continue as a cop if he feels unable to do more. Maybe Dan was right and Amenadiel's skill set, talent and celestial knowledge could be used in a better way or will he persevere in the police force, after all he and Harris do seem to make a good team! The emotions came through for you again in this episode and you said this season keeps making you cry- Mmm, let's see what the last four episodes bring!
