Man, last week was a big Back Log - alright, let's keep this week snappy, shall we? As snappy as I'm sure Dolphinpants was putting together this photoshop of Ruby and her best friends - the ones that wouldn't ever leave her alone on stream...

After joining the gang for the Game On Cancer stream a couple of weeks back, we asked Austin of SkillUp fame if he would be willing to join us on a normal episode, and he was very keen to do so! So naturally, we put him to work by asking for his thoughts on the biggest DLC of the year, maybe ever, Shadow of the Erdtree. After a long Elden Ring discussion, we also heard from Pete about the latest looter-shooter hotness, The First Descendant. Ruby also gave her thoughts on the fascinating new game out of (and inspired by) Melbourne, Dryft City Kyngs. And Gus, not to be outdone, took a trip back to the year 2015, where Trump had never been president, and a little game called Mad Max was released. There was also Crazy Taxi chat, neanderthal-ness, and some betrayal from our own community members in Chained Together. 'Twas a good one, folks.

In recent years, we've had an influx of games where you play as cats. I, for one, am a big fan of the trend And the most recent one of these was Little Kitty, Big City from Double Dagger Studio. And Ruby, being the fabulous podcast host she is, was able to wrangle Matt T. Wood, founder of that very studio, to talk to her all about his career, as well of the making of the very cute kitty game! This one's for you, cat people. We're still working on refilling up our schedule with guests for the next couple of months of the show after the insanity of May and June, so you'll have to wait for a later in the week reveal once again for the main show - don't worry, we won't keep you in the dark for too long!

In PocketBuds land though, we've got Indeimaus, someone you've seen on the main show before, coming in to chat to Ruby, which is sure to be mostly chaotic but maybe also slightly informative.

And in the streamer land, our nominee this week is one Angus Ronald. He hasn't even told me what he's playing yet, but we'll let you know on Monday morning! My money's on a fishing game...

For the sake of keeping things still snappy, I'm not gonna do much of a post-amble. Other than say it is very cold in Melbourne at the moment, and I don't like that it's very cold. That's all. Hope it's not cold for you. Or is, if that's what you want. Alright, this is quickly getting un-snappy.
