But Pocket, they're a keeper.

Another year and another PAX down - this one distinctly Pocket-less on an official front, but not at all from a community front. I myself was only able to spend a day around the convention, but it was lovely to see the friendly faces that I did, and even more so to see pictures and hear stories of all the fabulous gatherings that happened across the week. But to those of you who weren't able to make it, hopefully you had fun in Gus' community game night stream, and don't fret, because we're back with a vengeance this week!

Before then, we've got a couple of public holiday/PAX interrupted weeks of Back Pocket to catch up on, so let's get to it...

Back Pocket Tonight: The Return of Montaigne
They came back! After remarkably not scaring them off with our own Pocket-sized insanity the last time, Montaigne made their second appearance on our show. And they did so with a vengeance, absolutely slaying a music-themed Rizz Quiz - somehow, even more than we had actually expected. We also jumped into the latest chaotic co-op game to release, All You Need Is Help! But before all that, we had to get the lowdown on a bunch of games in What We've Been Playing, including the brand new Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, CopyCat, Montaigne's obsession with Peglin and Starfield's first expansion, Shattered Space. AND we also talked about the news of an Australian/NZ-themed showcase next Summer Games Fest, the Frosty Showcase!

PocketBuds: The Penultimate (and Penpenultimate?)

It's a big Friday, as it's the final episode of PocketBuds, and therefore a must-listen! Ruby's been collating a bunch of your input to make this one as special as possible, so hopefully it is as glorious a send-off as we hope it shall be!

But before then, we've got a show tomorrow night with the wonderful Kelsey Gamble, studio lead at New Blood Interactive (and formerly of League of Geeks and Bethesda) - it should be a hoot, as the kids say.
