I forgot how crazy that guy was in the first few episodes, lol. 😄 He's so dumb, lol. But he gets better.

Also, Yu Xi Gu is mad about missing class because he's poor and has no support. He needs scholarships for everything. If he misses class or misses an exam even once that may mean he won't be able to continue to go to school or get into university. And I don't think anyone except for school staff know how bad his situation really is.

Upon viewing this again with you I pick up on the intensity of these characters. Sun Bo Xiang is so infatuated with Lu Zhi Gang that he's a complete train wreck. Much of his angsty sincerity comes through so I don't completely write him off as a nut job. His behavior reminds me of 1970s/80s romance dramas where men are stupid/oafish/inconsiderate/harassing in their pursuit of the perfect woman and how much BS women have to put up with when being courted by some clumsy guy. That was common in that era where today Sun Bo's behavior toward Lu Zhi Gang is overtly obsessive/stalker/pervy that really should have him fired and reprimanded. Then I exhale and remind myself we're in the BL Universe ... but it really doesn't condone Sun Bo's off the rails moves on Lu Zhi Gang. I figure Lu Zhi Gang is tolerant of Sun Bo more because he knows what coming out and being a teen is like and feels he can handle this kid's poor behavior for now. Though it sends the wrong message in my opinion. Xiang Hao Ting, in his "I'm all that" mindset is finally dealt a punch from his improper inconsiderate self-oriented behavior toward Yu Xi Gu. And he sees that he went too far and caused much more pain than he intended. It's actually kinda sweet how puppy-like he becomes in this unfamiliar space. Perhaps it's just classic enemies to lovers approach but again it gets to the intensity portrayed here. I really felt for how alone Yu Xi Gu was on the rooftop wishing the rain would stop for just a while. Missing his parents, man tough stuff. Sigh. It was fun watching this with you as always.
