I think you missed it but the lady officer in the photo and on the badge is involved with what happened four years ago, she got shot at the scene and thats why A Fei/shaofei wants to uncover what really happened because people think that she was involved with the gang because both her and the gang leader were found dead together

This is going to be a fun re-viewing. I'm already picking up on things I completely missed. Shao Fei is so friggin passionate about this cold case but he's kind of an acquired taste to get used to. Tang Yi and Jack make me want to join a gang! (I'd be one of the oafs knocked off in a gun fight) Kenny is one of the sweetest side kicks I've ever seen.

I am so glad I can watch it with you. I just started it and got to ep 8 [ when the episodes are separated so it is ep 4 merged] and the progression was so big, watching it from ep 1 is so much fun and heartworming. Both couples deserve the best ! [ Hope what I red about Tang Yi and Shao Fei actors isn`t true and they can freely talk to each other publiccly] also that woman It took me a while to get what their relationship is despite they outright saying it XD
