I think that "love regardless of sex/gender" is still the same semi-homophobic trope that keeps getting dredged up from SOTUS on down: "I'm not gay, I only love this one person, who happens to be a man." You're right that that works for pan or bi people, but gay, straight, and lesbian - not likely. Also, not only is that the only hospital in the city, it also only has 3 employees (LOL). And indeed, the humor for me is very hit or miss, and mostly miss.

I assume that you don't see other people in the hospital because of Covid regulations and the low production budget of the series. I also don't find the girl at the hospital funny at all, but humor also culture different and might also got lost through translation. The funny thing about her character is how she still hasn't realized that the doctor isn't the slightest interested in her.

Love has not to be labeled, it is just what it is. You just love who you love, regardless of gender. As long as you don't use frases like "I'm NOT gay/lesbian....or whatever".... You're just who you are and love who you love..... nothing else matters.... that's only your business and nobody else's.....

I get you…but wouldn’t it be irony for a series which is labeled boys love to not actually acknowledge the community…and be like you love who you love….🤭😛

You're completely right....sadly those bl series are mostly written by straight people, seen through straight eyes living in countries where LHBTI is only "tolerated" if you can make a lot of money out of it.
