I fully agree with you, the only character I like in the series was Pin Jun and he deserved someone better

This series was just messed up 😭 they shouldn't have made pinjun and haiqing a couple in the first place if they were gonna end up hurting pinjun anyway 😫. They should have made them friends and as for fei and his ex they should have made them break up because of his ex cheating.see This type of storyline would have been better and no one is deeply hurt . The part where pinjun was giving in i was holding in my tears 😭😅 I just did my skincare routine a few minutes ago so I didn't want tears messing up my face but I still ended up crying 😂

I completely agree. The storyline could be good as it was. But they made the mistake of making the couple Ping Jun and Hai Qing more lovable and their love more pure than the main lead couple where they ended with. If that wasn't the case than this storyline could have work. But in this case everyone's sympathy (including me) now goes with the couple Hai Qing and especially Ping Jun, and not for the main couple. Especially the cheating of both Hai Qing and Yan Fei (the boss) made the main couple even less favorite. So probably they were going to create a happy ending with the main lead couple, but were in fact ruining the happy ending by breaking up Ping Jun and Hai Qing, and therefore making Ping Jun everyone's favorite with who we sympathize the most. Although the quality of this was not bad at all, they just completely messed up this show by writing it the way they did. And probably they realized this by now and maybe that's why they didn't made a second season.
