The trouble with dating someone who's career depends on their public image, especially in a country like South Korea, is that your relationship is a hindrance to their success. In the first episode, Kang talked about his acting dream and then about them moving to the country. That's what Han did. He moved to the country and opened his restaurant, and is waiting for Kang to fulfil his dream. If he gives in now, it would mean the past year would feel as though it was all for nothing.
