Cuteness and kilig? I AM STILL STRESSED AND ANGRY OVER HERE IN GERMANY AHHHHHHHH

Kris

I think the series is trying to show that even the worst things are often done with the best intentions, and that when you understand the reasons why people make those mistakes, you can forgive them. Thua shouldn't be so easily forgiven because things could have ended far worse for the protesters, Akk and Aye. Thua needs to apologise to them. Chadok isn't innocent because he chose the school over his peers when he was prefect, over his boyfriend when they were engaged and then over the students as a teacher. Him ripping those pages out of Dika's journal must have made Dika feel abandoned, after he already had to transfer to a different school.

What would all the BLs be about when the people would lock the doors :-)

I feel that Chadok ripping out those pages was the last straw to Dika. It was like Chadok was ashamed of him, and Dika felt things would be so much easier for the one he loves if he wasn’t there. That devastating thought paired with existing depression pushed him over the edge. He probably bottled up all his feelings until he convinced himself that committing suicide was the best thing for everyone. None of it is rational. As for Thua, I wish the aftermath of his actions was addressed more fully. It seems he was harboring a lot of anger and bitterness and that isn’t really addressed. Thua and Akk are more alike. Both thought they were doing bad things for the right reason. Akk terrorized the students out of the mistaken belief he was helping them by helping the school. Thua perpetuated the curse and threatened the people he claimed to be fighting for. Truth was more important than anything else. When Akk regretted his actions he realized he was trapped because Chadok manipulated him by holding his scholarship (Best Boy award = scholarship). Thua took away Akk’s dignity to confess and take responsibility. He confronted Akk in front of the entire school and irrevocably attacked his character. If Thua hadn’t continued the curse, the people he was claiming to fight for wouldn’t have been attacked. I’m still angry at Thua for his methods. He easily could have gotten Akk expelled. Then what? Thua could have still accomplished the same thing without making that dramatic scene he did. He was a bit too cold. If Akk didn’t have Aye to rely on, Akk would likely crack under pressure and take his life.
