I've liked the fact that they are establishing the friendship outside the office baseline. I do think Pat has been wrapped up in his own world, I do think he had hope himself that things with Put would work out, trying to correct what had happened years ago. But his feelings weren't there so letting that go has been hard. Put was out of line putting a claim on Pat like that knowing Jeng likes Pat. Gaining Pat's trust has been important to Jeng. Jeng has been flirting with him all episode, again he has been in his own head about the break up. He finally put all the clues together when Jeng confessed he's gay and very much into him. The fear of rejection or Pat not seeing him the same way is a very real one. Thank you for posting this.
