Funny coincidence, I found an old sci-fi Larry Niven essay collection at a used bookstore not too long after I started working on this picture, and came across this uh, interesting set of thought experiments about Superman's super spunk (and other problems). Hahaha wtf!

On a completely different topic, continuing my adventures from last time, I finally managed to get a hold of someone regarding the missing bloodwork. It turns out the sample was unusable, and they'd just neglected to make me aware of this. :/ Fortunately, the second try went okay. Apparently the veins in my arm are tiny and difficult to draw blood from, but the second lady was much nicer about it, and decided to take from my hand instead. Ouch! In any case, the results show I'm in good health, so I've got my medical clearance for surgery.

Yes, I'm unfortunately still struggling with weakness and pain, especially if I push it too hard (more than a couple hours, too many days in a row), so surgery seems the only option. Hoping to just get this fixed already and get back to normal. It is beyond frustrating to constantly feel inspired only to be held back by physical limitations.

So that's where I am at the moment. Thanks as always for your support, everyone! We're gonna make this right!
