It's actually obvious but I just noticed on this rewatch. Brook said all those thoughtful and nice things about Robin and her standing with the crew - without having been with them during Enies Lobby. He can tell just by interacting with them and how Luffy is and the way they helped him and others.

I think because she make herself giant (not just part of her body ) take a lot of energy plus she in the situation has to make a move right away so make her naked (full body) its more practical for her to fight (?). I saw majority in op community when they saw this fight, they never brings up or drooling over "she is naked" tho and just said how cool Robin was🤷‍♀️Remember she made giant version of her with her own hand, like she didnt have much time to create a giant clothes in middle of fight.
