[Important] Patreon is changing how Patrons are being charged at the end of this month. (Patreon)

Um... sorry to bait you with Orville but I wanted to let you know that for reasons outside of my control, Patreon is going to be changing the model under which patrons were charged.

As I have it now, its an entirely goodwill system where people can come and go at any time. Although if you stick around and see some new artwork in that time, it would always be nice if you throw something into my tip jar come the end of the month.

Admittedly not the most secure system, but ever since when I first made this Patreon however many years ago, I never felt fully comfortable taking money from others. And that very discomfort is what's driven me to continue to improve—its so that I could feel like an artist who is actually worthy of your generosity and support. And that's why let the door to this place swing both ways. I can tell you that I've been ripped off pretty consistently during that time. Though for the ones of you who have truly stuck around, Thankyou.

Well so, come November 1st, I'm not sure if anything will change for you at all. But on my end patrons will actually need to pay up front I believe if they want access. Basically turning my tip jar into a subscription model... like Netflix or Shudder, etc.

Should that happen I fear that it may choke out what little discovery this page has as it is...

Or mayhaps I'll lock in even harder and weather uncertainties with the assurance of tomorrows nirvanas.
