When I was designing the Odin character, I really wanted him to have freckles, so along with his freckled face came pale skin. Don't worry, though. He uses lots of suntan lotion!

Of course I should have known, it was my own complexion when younger : red hair, pale skin freckles. And suntan lotion is mandatory for her. I thought first she didn't have time to tan when Thor has been on the beach for months. But actuallly, Odin will never tan. Just burn if he forgets the lotion...

Yes. I am pale skinned myself, and though I can tan a little I have had to be careful ever since I had my second case of skin cancer! The good news is Odin loves his freckles!
