Sabrina in the anime is honestly pretty disturbing, it's a different portrayal then the games, but I like it, the dub actress does a good job of giving her a kind of creepy sound, like both as a little girl, and the monotone sound she normally has. Oh, also this is the first Gym were Ash wasn't able to beat it in the same episode, the challenge is starting to ramp up now for him.

Ash’s Butterfree would’ve matched up well against Sabrina had he not released it since Psychic types are not only weak to Ghost types but to Bug types as well. Later on there’s another type introduced that also beats Psychic types.
