Overall I'd say this was a mid-level cry for you. Judging on total volume, as opposed to isolated incidences. I'm impressed you pegged that something was off with Diego De La Cruz being Miguel's grandfather. You'd be amazed how many people continue to think he is RIGHT until the reveal in the cenote. Of the movies you mentioned at the end, I'd recommend "Moana" the most. Such a great film that after I saw it I actually drove across the country to the coast and jumped in the ocean.

I remember watching this movie that Thanksgiving Weekend when it premiered. The whole family went to see it. All us cousins and our parents were crying non stop, and the younger kids were looking at us weird like "why are you crying" lol. The thing is our grandma is 94 years old and looks exactly like Coco.

I watched this movie with my best friend shortly after she had lost her grandfather, who was also her only active father figure. The movie made her especially sad because her grandfather had always been the one behind the camera... People, make sure you have pictures of your loved one's. It's not even about (religious) festivities, but about you having sth. to remember them with.

Ah I’m so glad you enjoyed this one. I’ve said before that I prefer The Book of Life, probably just closer to home for me but there is also a giant bell! Y la música! As far as your next thoughts Moana and Hunchback both have incredible music (Moana being Lin Miranda’s entrance into Disney.) Thanks again and looking forward to the next one

When I tell you, I was so terrified to try to say Spanish words with incorrect pronunciation… I think respecting another culture is so incredibly important. And I absolutely thought this movie was gorgeous and that includes the traditions and the cultures… So beautiful.

I love this movie!!!! Wish we had the full review. Don't know if you know this but about 4 minutes in when he is running down the street on the way to the plaza, you can see 3 or 4 piñatas hanging up and if you look closely you will see that they are Buz & Woodie!
